    What could have been an interesting concept was ruined by the tedious dungeon crawling layout, and the massive amounts of grinding ensure no one will finish this game without getting bored at least once along the way.

    The pace is terrible, and the combat is frustrating at best. The first game was much better than this.

    The main difference between this and Pokemon is that Pokemon doesn't suck as much. Game play in Digimon World 2 is the equivalent of a snail race.
