I, for one, will be giving multiple copies of Crash Bash and multi-taps to family and friends this holiday, and that alone should speak miles on just how addictive and fun this game can be in a multiplayer environment.
  2. More four-player fun than even Ron Jeremy could offer.

Not to say that Crash Bash can't be played alone, but when there's a room full of people, Crash Bash suddenly becomes ten times more fun.
  4. 75
It's not original and it's not deep, but it's packed with tons of silly games and it's a social magnet amongst the geek elite.

The games themselves look good and play even better, but only against other humans. It's just not fun to play minigames against a computer, no matter how well they're both programmed.
  6. The sheer variety of games will entertain most any party for hours on end (or at least until the beer runs out.)
  7. Da Gameboyz

It is shallow, but it is a party game meant for four players to have fun beating each other senseless (in the game of course).
  8. It's a party title without the boring drama of rolling dice. It's a game that gets right to the point...the fun.
  9. Let's hope Traveller's Tales takes note with Crash 4 and helps all of us forget about Crash Bash.
  10. Utterly run of the mill, completely middle of the road. Its flaws may not be glaring, but there isn't a single aspect of the game that truly shines through.

The problem here is that there are better, more original and inventive party games out there; Crash Bash fails to do anything to put itself ahead of Nintendo's "Mario Party" series, or even match it.
  12. The six mini-games are fun to play... for about 30 minutes each.

The characters look exactly like themselves from the main Crash games. The music is unbelievably catchy, just like the original Crash trilogy. The environments and sounds are all still perfect. As for the new, original elements, I have to say, I'm really impressed. First of all, this is one of the VERY FEW games that must have Co-op, and it does (I'm looking at you, Crash "Team" Racing. The AI is kind of annoying though, in some levels, the bots are impossible to beat, while in others, they're a push-over. Like in the Polar Push games and Ballistix games. Most of the mini-games are great fun, while some are a pain in the main game. The pogo games, for example. The only one that's even remotely fun and lively is Pogo-a-gogo. But let's ignore the main game, and focus on the reason this game is a 10 in my eyes. First of all, I don't like how there have to be 4 players, but I guess that's the same problem with Mario Party. On the other hand, if you can get 3 friends playing together, it'll be the most fun you've ever had playing a game together. The competitiveness is unbelievable, because at every moment, a person could wipe out. This will be one of the best games I have ever had. Please play it, or at least get an emulator, a few gamepads, and get on it! Full Review »

And each mini-game has unique challenges among them so you can earn different collectables (also seen in previous Crash games).

The only negative things I think worth mentioning is first off, the AI, which can make some mini-games excruciatingly hard - and even more so when attempting some challenges unique to those mini-games. The second issue is that some mini-games are simply unfun and unintuitive, but some of them need to be completed anyway to continue the game. It's an awesome play for true Crash fans and its multiplayer is first-rate, but other than that, it doesn't pop out like it's predecessors.
