    Do yourself a favor -- buy a multitap, rent some friends (we find that beer works for this) and spend a night bombing the hell out of each other. Just, please, don't ride the animals.

    This is obviously a review filled with nostalgia. Bomberman was my favorite game when I was a kid and to this day I still find it a fantasticThis is obviously a review filled with nostalgia. Bomberman was my favorite game when I was a kid and to this day I still find it a fantastic game and still play it. The thing is, I have played a bunch of different Bomberman games but none ever managed to emulate the same gameplay and good enemy AI. The AI is so freaking random you never know how they're going to kill you, themselves or both. The variety of modes and characters is quite impressive and allows the game to deliver a fun time for dozens of hours. After replaying it right now I still have as much fun as when I was younger and I still think it is a fantastic game to relieve some stress and just have a good time.

    The "campaign" mode is not the greatest but it gets the job done and can be quite challenging also worth playing. Not the greatest multiplayer game ever but definitely a great game to play at a party with family or friends like its title suggests.    … Full Review »
