Velocity Ultra is actually a fun, fast paced, and addicting little game. It is exhilarating as you race against time to get the gold and feels very rewarding when you destroy/kill items/enemies. The game is not going to wow anyone, but don't judge a book by it's cover, the gameplay is very fun. Although this is not a game I would run out the door to buy since it's not a "big triple aVelocity Ultra is actually a fun, fast paced, and addicting little game. Although this is not a game I would run out the door to buy since it's not a "big triple a game"/ basically a repetitive game/ doesn't have much of a story; it's still a good game for what it is, and honestly wished this was what resogun would've resembled on the ps4 (didn't like resogun). check this game out if you have some time to kill. Es un buen shooter para la consola, con mecánicas interesantes y una dificultad bastante aceptable. Aunque en lo personal no me gusta la transición entre niveles y algunos de ellos me parecen poco atractivos, creo que no es mal juego y es una buena adición a la libreria en Vita.

Few great additions aside from the new graphics, but Velocity Ultra is still one of the best shoot'em ups on PlayStation Vita.

Velocity Ultra looks, plays, and sometimes feels like a traditional vertical scrolling shooter, but has a level of accessibility and innovation that separates it from comparable games. Its main hook is one I never felt fully comfortable with, but it didn’t hinder the overall experience. The genre convergence on display here is exciting, and worth playing even if you typically avoid shoot ‘em ups.

You'll get annoyed - really annoyed - but it's worth it. And, as it turns out, it's actually pretty fast after all. [Issue#233, p.81]
