UFO Dad is a match-three puzzle platformer that uses inspiration from games such as Mr. Driller and Tetris Attack to stand out in a crowded puzzle gaming market for mobile devices.

It simply stands as a slightly above average game for its price but nothing else more. Although future DLC is said to be on its way, I can only hope UFO Dad will be expanded and be given the spark it needs.

If you're a big supporter of the PlayStation Mobile platform, then UFO Dad isn't a bad puzzle game.

At a mere $4, puzzle fans will have some fun with UFO Dad.

Overall, UFO Dad should be given some praise for attempting to break the mold of the traditional match-three puzzle game and adding something new to the mix. However, it is held back by game play that quickly becomes tedious rather than addictive.

Original gameplay mechanics (it's like Mr. Driller combined with Bejeweled), and some lovable characters. The music is a real surprise, very nice! UFO Dad is simple on the surface but very replayable, with some nice depth and strategy with the different characters that you'll learn over time. Love having the PSN leaderboards! Full Review »
