    Despite a terrible wannabe anime art style the game is a competent Mega Man clone. Runs well on Vita but is windowed with a border around it. Can be frustrating just like a Mega Man game.

    In general, it passes by in a blur of jumping and shooting, and doesn't give any reason why it's worth your time or money.

    The Legend of Dark Witch is an indie action platformer with fun characters and beautiful pixel art. While it is short in length, it rewards multiple playthroughs - but still won't be likely to last anybody playing it seriously more than a weekend. The most glaring flaws here are the high initial entry point and unfortunately blurry graphics, but if you can grab the game on sale then it comes recommended.

    The Legend of Dark Witch is a cheap and cheerful platform shooter with a wafer thin plot and a punishing difficulty. I doubt if it would hold anyone’s attention for long but, for a quick blast, it is perfectly serviceable.
