    An interesting and fast-paced take on the match 3 or more style of puzzler. The constant threat of the time limit and pressure build up will keep you on your toes, and it's addictive enough to become yet another game that will have you saying "just one more go." I just didn't feel the same addictive quality in it, which disappointed me a bit. Still, the overall package can be an absolute blast.     Surge Deluxe is a fast paced puzzle game in which the player has to use the touchscreen to connect blocks of the same colour against a time limit.

    Reviews seem to be mixed for this game but personally I'd have to add it to the long list of pretty forgettable PS+ titles.     Surge Deluxe is quite good for what it is, little fast-paced puzzler to keep you entertained for couple of minutes with your Vita when you're just traveling or something, but it's basically the same thing all over again, you get most of your trophies pretty quickly, except for one, where you're forced to grind for hours and hours if you want to 100% this title, which is ridiculous.Surge Deluxe is quite good for what it is, little fast-paced puzzler to keep you entertained for couple of minutes with your Vita when you're just traveling or something, but it's basically the same thing all over again, you get most of your trophies pretty quickly, except for one, where you're forced to grind for hours and hours if you want to 100% this title, which is ridiculous. However, true longevity of this game would be just a few hours I would say, because it gts repetitive quite quickly. To be honest, these kind of games should be free, I got it from PS Plus free, so it's all good, but I can't imagine paying for this kind of stuff. 5/10… Expand

    If you're after value, Surge Deluxe delivers: it's pretty, it's cheap and it's a good quick game to play. Just don't expect anything game-changing. [Issue#145, p.115]

    It has just enough little nuances to set it apart from the vast ocean of similar puzzle games available across the digital oceans and it’s yet another solid indie title in Vita’s ever-growing catalogue.
