Sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm actually controlling the lance or shield at all. Do they act completely independent of one another? I can't really tell, they seem to move around even when I'm sill. Is there different sweet spots on different opponents, or is there a chance at a critical hit? I dunno, sometimes a direct hit rolls off an opponent, other times it topples them.
