Although this is a fantastic game... Skip the Vita version and get it somewhere else if possible. New and Tasty has one of the heaviest graphical downgrades I've ever seen for a vita title. The graphics are butchered in place of actual game optimization. If the devs had actually taken their time in properly optimizing the game and have it rival the PS4 visuals of the game.

Instead they chose the easy route and just pulled effects, parallax backgrounds and high rez textures from the game. The end result is a game with extremely underwhelming visuals for the vita, and STILL has massive frame drops in certain sections.

Glad that I got this game for free through cross buy due to getting the PS4 version for free with PSPlus.. I would have been extremely disappointing if I had spent money on this game.. GET THIS GAME SOMEWHERE ELSE. Its one of the worst vita ports I have ever seen... To think I thought that Jak and Daxter was a bad port. New and Tasty makes it look like a masterpiece of a port.

TLDR.. Amazing gameWorst Vita port I've ever seen.... buy it on another platform

Longer loading times and the occasional technical hiccup are the only downsides, but they are minor, and don't harm what is a fun, challenging experience that you won't forget in a hurry.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a great quirky little game that newcomers to the franchise will enjoy, and returning fans will respect for the visual upgrade and nostalgic effect. However, the Vita version is by no means the best way to play it, but if you don’t have access to the console versions or if you just fancy a bit of Oddworld on the go, then this is the ticket.

New 'n' Tasty is charming, cheery, and has been carried over to Vita spectacularly despite some technical imperfections.
