    It sticks to the original concept of the series, and offers an addictive experience. If you haven't played Lemmings recently and you enjoyed it once, it won't disappoint.

    Highly recommended for anyone who’s into puzzlers and has never played Lemmings, or is feeling nostalgic. If you’re a Lemmings veteran, though, it might feel too much like the same old, same old.

    The classic gameplay fits perfectly in tactile commands but it doesn’t feel like there’s any innovation. Besides, it's perfectly possible to play with the traditional buttons.

    A refreshing and modern take on a classic franchise, Lemmings Touch stands as a decent puzzler in its own right. Sometimes frustrating controls however, threaten to spoil what is otherwise an easy recommendation to Lemmings stalwarts and newbies alike.

    Adding touch controls is a great way to reintroduce one of gaming’s forgotten classics to a new generation, and the added portability is a real bonus. But for fans, the familiarity may be a stumbling block, and it would have been nice to see some new abilities to play with, if only to make this more than just a re-tread.

    Yes, the touch controls aren’t a superior substitute for a mouse and can occasionally find themselves frustrating, and the menu being overlaid as a thought bubble causes way more problems than a simple toolbar, but I promise, you can work your way through it.

    Lemmings Touch feels like a throwback to a bygone era which the industry forgot. The core mechanics still feel fun enough, but the game is so bare bones and plain that it feels like a missed opportunity.

    Lemmings get a nice touch of modernity, but these tactile evolutions don't necessarily improve the experience, since some controls inaccuracies interfere both with the proven and the new gameplay mechanics.

    This latest edition’s clumsy controls will obstruct your enjoyment at times, and while the top-notch puzzles and vibrant visuals will certainly tunnel through some of these issues, the input problems will still chip away at your patience like a pickaxe as you progress.

    It's wonderful that the lemmings are back! Now with a great twist of mischievous lemmings and cannons and trampolines. Really great attempt toIt's wonderful that the lemmings are back! There's a new option to change your lemmings' wardrobe too!
    All of these would be great and wonderful if this game did not have touch controls.
    You forget all the good the developers have done the first time you miss tap and have to restart the level which you almost perfected. You can move the item bubble around! While this sounds like a good idea it leads to far more missed taps than anything. Precise control is a necessity in lemmings and touch controls ruin it.
    All this could be easily avoided by allowing you to pause at the correct time and enable an item on a particular lemming. I tried to do this to no avail.
    If someone out there is reading this, please get the word to the developers of this niche game on this niche console to fix this sacrilege of a control system.    … Full Review »
