LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is a standout in the series for the Vita and raises the bar for what a LEGO can be. It has a fun story that weaves together the various superheroes and villains from the DC universe in a clever way, and the humor is spot on. It's a fun to play game that provides hours of action and treasure hunting.

A great game. I would say the 2nd best Lego game on the vita. It doesn't have an open world apart from the tower and bat cave. But the gameA great game. I would say the 2nd best Lego game on the vita. It doesn't have an open world apart from the tower and bat cave. But the game and missions are great. It can get a little repetitive and predictable but plenty to offer overall. Only Lego avengers is better on the vita, but I am more a marvel man than DC. Apart from no open world a must buy on the vita. Expand

I gotta say, the Vita is a fantastic system for the Lego games. The graphics are crisp and clear on the Vita's screen, and the gameplay transitions perfectly. I made it through the entire game without encountering a single bug, which is unprecedented for Lego games. The voice acting is great, but they must have had to compress it during gameplay because there's a noticeable drop off in quality when cut scenes end. My sole complaint about the port is that the levels are tiny compared to the console versions. It's hard to knock it for what it is NOT, though, so I tried to score it based on what it IS. Each level takes at most five minutes to complete. The collectibles and red brick challenges, etc. are all there, but it's not quite the same experience when you have a much smaller world to scour looking for them. For $40, it will take you about 8-10 hours to see everything the game has to offer. That's not a terrible price proposition -- especially if you are a fan of the DC universe -- but it may be worth waiting for a discount. Expand
