Aug 30, 2016Just about my only qualm with Laser Disco Defenders is that aforementioned insane level of difficulty. Normally, that might be a dealbreaker for me, but when the overall package is as enjoyable as this one is, that's a problem I have no issue overlooking.

Sep 20, 2016Overall the game experience provided by Laser Disco Defenders is fantastic, and will definitely be a fixture on the first page of my Vita’s wall, everything just fits together perfectly. It is incredibly challenging whilst remaining fun.

Sep 11, 2016There are a lot of twin-stick shooters out there but Laser Disco Defenders manages to stand out thanks to a clever game mechanic where your bullets start to add to your problems. Add in the funky '70s vibe and this ends up being an enjoyable, if averagely-produced, way to fling a few bullets around.

Aug 2, 2016Laser Disco Defenders is a very visually appealing game with a great toe-tapping soundtrack. However the difficulty barrier is set so high and feels so much more unforgiving when compared to its contemporaries that it feels like it may have done itself a slight disservice by only allowing players with the absolute highest levels of skill and patience to sample most of what it has to offer.
