Nov 21, 2014This game would be fun, as a on-the-go collection of a pretty fun game series, but unfortunately the frame rate is just too low to even enjoy any of the game's, a HUGE disappointment.

Dec 2, 2014Framerate issues makes this game unplayable. Everything else is passable but low FPS prevent me to have any fun at all. Only question to ask is: why there was no patch ever released? Such a waste.

Aug 2, 2013No, this games are not good. I'm happy that the PS Vita bundle with this Collection was the same price as the PS Vita without a game. Otherwise I would've been so mad. How the does somebody enjoy this? It's buggy, laggy, and just not fun at all. The controls are not smooth and for half of the time the character just doesn't react when you press a button.

Nov 9, 202020 fps... and choppy. It's console counterparts run at 60 fps. There is no reason why this game runs so poorly other than Sony not caring enough.

Jun 6, 2021The game is truly bad optimized, runs at 20fps. It's the third launch of the game but still have all the problems. Really baaad gameplay, jump and double jump is pain. But the scenarios is beautiful.

May 13, 2018My problem is the port is awufl port. frame rate is bad. The controls are very bad. Yeah, the games are good but only in ps2 and ps 4 port of Jack 2(is nice), in vita suck.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaAug 12, 2013We can’t help but feel as though this port was booted out of the door without so much as a kiss goodbye. Case in point: you still have the option to toggle ‘vibration’ on and off in the settings menu. Come on, guys... really? The Jak and Daxter Collection should be played by anybody who hasn’t already. But our advice: skip past this port and go for the home console version instead. [September 2013, p74]

Aug 9, 2013The sad truth is that while the trilogy is more than playable on the Vita this collection is not the definitive version, and if you have the choice and the inclination you would be far better off playing these on the PS3.

Jul 28, 2013The Jak and Daxter Collection’s three games are excellent, but if you have the ability to play them on the PS3 (or hell, even the PS2), then that's the way to go.
