The Alliance is the franchise's next natural step on PlayStation Vita, a children's title that will be enjoyed by all members of the family. The new augmented reality feature will make you believe the InviZimals are real, producing an incredible immersion effect. Varied, visually correct and with more than 100 of these animals for capturing. It's a lot of fun.

Using Vita's new graphic engine, Invizimals: The Alliance delivers the same gaming experience as its predecessor with a few new additions that doesn't change the overall vibe of the franchise. Youngsters will just love it.

InviZimals is a good buy for kids. It’s a game with lots of different characters and lots to do, and will keep kids busy and entertained. Adults may even find the AR technology and use of various inputs interesting and the world of little InviZimals rather charming.

This time we've got a very solid experience that is meant not only for its usual audience, but also for those who enjoy games based on collecting creating, sharing and fighting among them.

Invizimals: The Alliance is a great experience for the younger gamer. It's a varied and highly addicting bag of fun, with nicely implemented Vita features. On the downside, you can't play the game when it's dark, its objectives aren't always clear and there's a certain lack of depth to be found. Nevertheless, Invizimals fans will thoroughly enjoy this extra addition to their collection.

Despite the lack of decent environments, Invizimals: The Alliance compensates with a great gameplay and fun, and is a lot better than the PlayStation 3 version.

The alliance is a unique, different, and very smart product, able to capture the imagination of youngsters. In terms of execution is far from perfect, but that does not take away it’s merit, the team from Barcelona managed to take a different idea, evolve it, and turn it into a phenomenon that already exceeds the field of videogames. The transition to the Vita was inevitable; Invizimals: The Alliance is at home on Sony's portable.

If the Invizimals debut on PS3 is something to forget, the return on mobile systems continues in the good path of the old PSP chapters.

After three games on PSP the series jumps on a new train and breaks from its Augmented Reality chains. Now you can hunt Invizimalz everywhere, but despite this new feature, The Alliance is just the usual game.

Invizimals: The Alliance is the perfect example of a game held back by the very elements that set it apart from its peers. The creativity and technology involved with the catching of Invizimals is great, but there isn’t enough of a game built around that aspect – other than the monster fighting, which can get rather repetitive. But even with its mildly tedious nature, it’s still infinitely more enjoyable than The Lost Kingdom.

It's just a real shame, then, that once you’re done with the story, there’s not much more to see unless you've got the urge to catch 'em all or run with the big dogs online.

Invizimals: The Alliance takes a very smart concept and builds upon it an utterly simple game which will appeal kids and bore everyone else. This is a gold mine as far as AR is regarded, though.

This InviZimals on PS Vita uses all the features of the handheld console, but they are quite difficult to understand for children... and beyond capturing creatures with those mini-games, the battle system is still pretty uninteresting.

I suspect that a lot of these issues may be solved when the next game in the franchise, Invizimals: The Resistance, arrives with its card-free ways, but at present, that's still a barrier to entry, and it's a big enough barrier that you'd be wiser to just wait for The Resistance to wash up on North American shores than to invest your energy in this entry in the series.
