    While I had some issues with the soundtrack – as the music can get overly repetitive at the best of times - the graphics are pretty good for a handheld, with the plastic models and environments looking quite impressive during the replays.

    Foosball 2012 was never going to set the world alight, but it's a competent arcade multiplayer game that's a great fit for parties or social gatherings. Despite its misjudged micro-transactions, the game still represents outstanding value, and the impressive connectivity between the PS3 and Vita versions helps to accentuate that. The title's unlikely to hold your attention for too long, but if you're looking for something lighthearted and fun, Foosball 2012 is well worth a spin.

The downside of this game is its multiplayer, its basically a lagfest to see who can spam right stick the most and no skill is needed, just a better connection. It is VERY laggy even with a great connection and it appears PS3 players have much less lag when playing online. (I tried 1v1 PS3 VS Vita to compare, and vita is MUCH more laggy, so.. expect to lose against PS3 players while on Vita.) I would enjoy a tournament mode or something however, maybe some minigames.… Expand

The game uses a lot of auto assist on the controls which is good because it would be really frustrating if it didn't but after a while it just feels you are are just jamming the sticks around. (Jamming the sticks around is what I do in real foosball so maybe it isn't a bad simulator. ) Great for a quick game but not so good for more than 10 minutes at a time.… Expand

It takes a hard hit in the online multiplayer, which is why this game scores lower on the board. Good :

    + Customizable tables and Foosmen.
    + World Tour Mode
    + Controls
    + Unlockables
    +Price

    Bad:

    -Online mode is VERY laggy, despite a 20mbps connection.
    -Online matches are few and far between
    -Hard/Master difficulties are almost impossible to 3-star, which for this game, unlocks content and more levels.

    All in all this is a great game for a LOW price, but, if your sole purpose is to engage in online foosball madness you might want to wait.    … Expand

For nearly £6 you get a game that's not exactly full of content. The difficulty settings are ridiculous! Medium feels like novice, advanced feels like medium, it's all over the place! But for the most part you can enjoy Foosball(its called table football, idiots.) extremely fast paced gameplay and pleasing visuals giving you perfect visual feedback if you have the game on mute. Although I said its fast paced there is quite a problem with the gameplay. During world tour you get to unlock "trick shots" these are shots that will boost your performance in a match. These are pretty much a bunch of **** You don't need them and probably won't use them. Its next to impossible to actually be able to pass in the game as every button press/stick push is considered a shot. Its world tour mode is average. Not really worthy of much credit, but its still there. The customization is next to worthless. This game however is perfect for short playing times such as a bus journey. But overall isn't worth nearly £6, especially when you can get a selection of games for that on the minis section of PSN with the same polish.… Expand
