Feb 10, 2014Vita owners looking for another standout indie title for their collections should definitely give Dustforce a shot.
-
Feb 4, 2014Infuriatingly enjoyable from the start to the moment you throw the Vita in a fit of anger.
-
Mar 14, 2014Dustforce is a unusual and brilliant scrolling videogame, starring a task force of powerful janitors. With broom and vacuum cleaner, we will sweep the game levels by all sorts of garbage. Cleaning has never been so fun.
-
Feb 14, 2014Dustforce is a beautiful game with an elegant design. The search of the perfect wall jump can be frustrating, though, and the difficulty level is only for the brave.
-
Feb 14, 2014All of which is to say: I'm not sure whether I can totally recommend Dustforce. On the one hand, it's so wonderful to look at that it seems like it'd be a crime to not suggest you buy it. On the other, if it's not a broken game, at the very least it's one with issues that absolutely need to be fixed before it can truly be called playable.
-
Feb 12, 2014An enjoyable, if flawed, Janitor-'em-up that offers a nice twist on the platform genre.
-
Feb 4, 2014Dustforce comes to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSVita with a perfect port 1:1. Jumps, speed and brooms for this 2D platforming quick game. The Sony portable console has the most suitable version, great to play anywhere.
-
Apr 15, 2014There’s a mega-compulsive core to Dustforce, but a desperate polish of the Vita controls is needed for the platforming to truly shine like it deserves.
-
games(TM)Mar 12, 2014Dustforce does itself no favours for having such a grim outlook, but when a game offers this much challenge it's easy to brush such criticisms under the carpet. [Issue#145, p.123]
-
Feb 21, 2014Multiplayer aside, Dustforce remains a delightful platformer that is both soothing and stressful.
-
Feb 17, 2014Dustforce is a hard shell platformer that doesn't always give to the player all the necessary tools to beat it, mostly due to some unresponsive controls. If trial and error is your bread and butter, and you're not afraid of frustration, this is the game for you.
-
Feb 4, 2014Dustforce can often be frustrating, but its well-designed levels elicit a sense of flow that can make Dustforce incredibly satisfying. Dustforce will make you angry, but if you're prepared to put the time in to learn its levels, Dustforce will give you something back.
-
Feb 25, 2014It is not every day that we play a videogame with a broom in hand, so this is an interesting and different proposition, frustrating yes, but at the same time ultra-challenging and fun, particularly on PlayStation Vita.
-
Feb 18, 2014Dustforce is a very enjoyable game for the most part, but its later levels suck the entertainment out of the experience, as it becomes little more than an exercise in anger management.
