POSITIVE: all the character voices are authentic. game is fun for a short period. animations are clean and beautiful. automatic combos are good for allowing beginners to fight more advanced users.

NEGATIVE: If you are looking for a new advance fighting game to show off some combos, this is not the game. If you want to play an anime character with sonic green hills zone background and digital music, this is what you want.

Conclusion: If you enjoy the dengeki characters, check this out. if you want to play online stay away from the VITA version. the VITA game does not support cross matching with PS3 users. There were 5 players online last night in my area. The game is a fun arcade game like most SEGA games but dont expect to spend more than a few days playing this and in no way does this even come close to replacing something like guilty gear or blazblue.

It’s great that games like this manage to get western releases, but it’s also easy to see why they’re so few and far between.

A competent fighter with appreciable depth and complexity, but one that's not overly technical, either. Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a fine addition to the Vita and PS3 2D fighting library.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a wonderful fighting game that isn’t particularly meant to be played by fighting game diehards. That doesn’t make it bad, but rather a love-letter to anime and Sega fans, and an all-around excellent game to boot; one that’s filled to the brim with content, unlockables and a colorful cast of characters.
