As a 20 year old I dont really gather to much nostalgia from titles that are solely aiming to capitalize on that aspect. I do however respect the appeal of a minimalist design to leave alot up to ones imagination. The art is also captivating and the reason I took a gamble to purchase it.Gameplay wise, I cant defend it much. It took a little bit to figure out kents movement, combat feels like ps1 silent hill, and levels are really short from how far i got. Story wise, writings vague, decent amount of cliches, and overall about average but thats not a bad thing. It fits the title and setting. For ambience, ill just say they really got me a few times with some decent tricks and immersive moments. Other than that the main enmies dont do much so I ran by em. Im happy with it and glad its a vita game. Expand

I don’t have nostalgia for the era, which means that Back in 1995 just feels oddly antiquated. It’s entirely possible that some enterprising developer can still revive PS1-era gaming for the better, but this game is very clearly not that.
