    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I can't really understand how this year's game is getting better reviews than last year's. The only thing they improved was the bug's corrections. Everything else, or almost, is the same or worse.
    MyRise "The Lock" is boring as hell, 70% of the time you are playing against fake characters created by 2K. When we start a MyRise career the expectation is to be involved in the WWE universe in a immersive way, Last year's wasn't perfect, but was BY FAR better.
    Universe Mode is bland as hell, they even removed the show's intros. What's the sense of the universe mode overall? The only thing you do is fight -> menu -> fight -> menu. You have some cutscenes based on rivalries, but even those are so short and have 0 impact overall. Universe Mode should be something where you set the show of that day, click start and then watch it / play it as a real show. Not isolated matches followed my menus.
    Well, I don't really know I feel like the formula to have a good WWE game is easy but 2K keeps making it hard for no reason.
    Some Pros:
    - Community creations still really good!
    - Import custom superstar to MyRise is amazing
    - Gameplay is the same, but with less bugs and that's nice.    … Expand

Because all you idiots keep preordering so why would 2k bother actually putting forth effort to improve the game? Boatloads of missing legends, but you can play as Bud Bunny or a bunch of developmental people that you’ve never heard of.     Absolute garbage. Definitely not worth $70 in terms of any upgrades over 2k22z Wish I hadn’t preordered and just waited until it went on sale.

    First wrestling game I purchased since smackdown. This game is hot **** ass. I created a metacritic account just so I could rate this half assed piece of **** Refs take a hr to start counting a **** pin. Press L1 to pick up objects. Except you have to press L1 1 hundred **** times just for your character to finally decide pick the weapon up.     Game had potential to be great but like always with 2K is buggy and sloppy. Only somewhat enjoyable mode were showcase and Myrise. Story was good but gameplay is very messy. MyFaction is a complete joke again with not even having any decent cards unlocked for months. AI is legit some of the worst AI in a WWE game. Save your money and grab this on sale for $20 just for the story modes.

    It gets a 1 star rating from me because of Cena Being nearly impossible to beat in Showcase mode with undertaker So Far. Also Roman ain't no 99! He's an 89 at best solo!

The commentary is very dynamic. Aside a few new improvements and additions, this game is about the same as the last for $70. That is too expensive. Let me wrestle in more backstage areas, outside the arena or something. While the customization remains biblical, the stage creator has some glitches. WWE had a 50 man Royal Rumble match in real life, but I can't even do that in a video game.

    The ratings in this game are once again incredibly stupid. Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair have higher ratings than Hulk Hogan. I'm sick to death of these garbage feminist ratings. Well let me tell you something brother, I heard that Becky Lynch was in the main event of the lowest-viewed third hour Raw in history. You can't just have someone of that caliber get a rating higher than a legend who was in the most viewed WWE episode in history. I don't care if you can edit the ratings, I do not like to have my intelligence insulted by some feminist developers who are desperately trying to make these newer wrestlers relevant by inflating their ratings. Jesus Christ are the WWE so obsessed with Roman Reigns, but surprisingly he isn't the highest rated wrestler. It is a John Cena skin that has the highest rating, and it is a stroke of genius. WWE needs to make that a Fortnite skin.

    The new pin system improves the online multiplayer experience, but it's about the same as the last game. For goodness sake, why are unskippable cutscenes still a thing in 2023? Enough already. I can't skip the cringeworthy cutscenes in MyRise. I don't want to watch a stupid movie about wrestling. I just want to punch wrestlers. Even with unskippable cutscenes, there's too many loading screens. I can only skip the dialogue cutscenes, which have horrible lip syncing. I only recommend this game until it is $15-20. This is not worth the outrageous price of $70.    … Expand

    Total rubbish. It's %100 same game from last year with huge price. i mean this is WRESTLING game. right ? Because this game still not has chain wrestling.. i still miss old wwe 2k games. I finished showcase mod. matches were not bad lots of important matches were missing but it makes job done.even attires are not match with original ones . its very simplified versions and not accurate.Total rubbish.     So this years game is a step in the right direction. The myrise story is actually pretty good . Graphics are pretty nice . The gameplay could be better but that’s expected when your using an outdated game engine. Myfaction is playable to an extent. But the reason for the 4/10 is the horrific online servers .     It's disappointing that I left a good review when the game came out finally and now it's already gone. In just one month, 2K had the entire game broken with small patch updates and poor DLC. They obviously can do more, but doesn't care to. 2K is the most laziest company ever. I can see why every year they fail at everything. The price is down for a reason. The worst glitch is managers do not come out properly. The manager you select first will work in Universe Mode but after that it's a complete gamble. Support from 2K has been useless. If your favorite mode is Universe Mode stick with 2k22.… Expand

    My faction has been completely ruined with the drip feed content.
    Online mode is just unplayable. There is some good points to the game the community creations this year are unbelievable but the community creation mode doesn't always work which is really annoying. I would give this game a miss stick with wwe2k22 and wait for wwe2k24 with the hope they have    The game constantly crashes.

    There is some good points to the game the community creations this year are unbelievable but the community creation mode doesn't always work which is really annoying. I would give this game a miss stick with wwe2k22 and wait for wwe2k24 with the hope they have sorted out the bugs.    … Expand

    Bon je ne sais pas par ou commencer.
    2k prend les fans de catch pour des idiots depuis beaucoup trop longtemps.
    Les jeux de catch ont toujours été des jeux fun en multi-joueur, surtout en local.
    Quoi de mieux que de passer une aprem avec son meilleur pote à se taper dessus ou à martyriser l'IA dans des matchs à stipulations variées et extrêmes ?
    Le problème ici, c'est qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à faire et qu'on a vite fait le tour des matchs, surtout en co-op. Les temps ou l'on pouvait se battre en backstage en 2 vs 2 minimum me manquent. Sur 2k23, tout est fait pour jouer seul, ou pour vous affronter avec vos amis, mais pas coopérer. Au bout de 10 ans de 2K sport, l'espoir de voir le retour des stipulations fun qui ont fait la légende des jeux WWE chez THQ est enterrée (ou buried alive comme ce match qui existait avant quand les consoles étaient moins puissantes).
    Parlons du gameplay maintenant, le jeu est très trèèèèèèès lourd en main, rempli de bugs, de petites cinématiques qui vous feront taper dans le vide ou de réactions irréalistes qui peuvent vous faire perdre un match bêtement (par exemple votre superstar qui enclanche une cinématique dans laquelle elle se plaint alors qu'il y a un adversaire avec un finisher qui attend pour vous cueillir gratuitement, ou encore les animations d'entrée et de sortie de ring, dans les cordes etc qui peuvent vous faire perdre l'avantage sur votre adversaire si elles ne sont pas anticipées). Il ya aussi le système de paralysie et d'étourdissement qui est mal fait. Tu peux perdre un match en 2 coups de poing, ou tu peux te prendre l'animation de sortie de ring après avoir pris seulement une seule prise même si tu domine tout le match (sur les triple threat tu peux perdre de cette horrible manière avec le corps indemne, l'ia profitant de ton travail sur l'autre ia et t'infligeant ce glitch pour te sortir du match). Le ciblage est lui aussi catastrophique.
    Pour ce qui est des modes de jeux, étant un joueur FUT, je suis évidemment à fond dans My Faction, trouvant la durée de vie des autres modes ridicules. Ce mode My Faction est une catastrophe. Le contenu est ridicule, le prix des pack est atroce et les moyens de gagner de l'argent à dépenser pour les acheter sont très limités. Vous devez jouer 1h pour obtenir de quoi vous payer un pack qui contiendra surement un doublon sans valeur. Les live events, proving grounds sont remplis de matchs à plusieurs, or , wwe 2k23 ne sait pas gérer les matchs à plusieurs. Le jeu crash automatiquement dés qu'il y a plus de 3 catcheurs sur le ring. La maniabilité digne d'un 33 tonnes, le fait que l'ia est réglée avec le cul et vous cible à chaque fois parmi les 6 catcheurs, quitte à se mettre à plusieurs sur vous alors que c'est chacun pour soi. Elle est aussi capable de courir d'un bout de l'arène à l'autre sans relâche après vous comme ci vous lui deviez de l'argent. Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, pour répondre à cette incompétence, 2k vous a rempli le mode de matchs 6-man (hell in a cell, money in the bank, ladder,...). Il n'y a que ça, partout. Ce qui fait du seul mode avec de la replay value un véritable enfer.

    Pour le reste pas envie de m'y attarder des modes qui passent mais auxquels on ne jouera qu'une seule fois avant de se lasser. Le mode création est peut être le seul point positif, quoi que 2k n'a toujours pas eu la bonne idée de proposer le fait de transférer ses superstars et les listes de coups d'un jeu à l'autre ce qui force à recommencer tous les ans. C'est fatiguant de tout refaire à l'identique, une perte de temps (surtout la liste de coups).

    Bref un jeu à acheter en promo à 25€ max pour pas se faire avoir.

    WWE 2K23 takes the huge improvements made with last year's game and adds all manner of polish and tweaks. The game modes are each enhanced, while superstar and custom wrestler models look better than they ever have before. You won't find as many changes in the ring itself, but the sheer amount of content and the addition of the WarGames match should prove more than enough for fans.

    WWE 2K23 offers a great amount of content for every WWE fan, no matter what mode will chose to enjoy. Technically above average and with a profound but affordable gameplay, its easy to have a great time with this game, although it has some aspects to improve yet.

    After taking a year off to refine the formula, WWE 2K23 is back with a bang. Graphically impressive, filled to bursting with wrestlers and content, it’s a fitting continuation for long-time fans. It’s just that little bit too overwhelming for lapsed fans that are coming in fresh, but it does at least try to accommodate.
