Storywise, it's a bit repetitive so far and quite boring. Also bagsley feels like if you ordered wheatley off wish and that's being generous

Gameplay? Actually pretty excellent. When I was playing it having cars crash into each other or hiring grannies was hilarious. Wish it appealed to me more as I was looking forward to this game a lot. If you really want to buy it i'd recommend

The user reviews for this game are **** 20 hours into the game not a single bug. The story is actually pretty good - each chapter feels like one episode of black mirror. I like the fact you can switch the person you play any time... One mission in stealth, one with machine gun, another with paintball gun. Good experience overall!

The score here makes no sense. The graphics and the reproduction of London is some of the best I have ever seen so far on consoles and just that deserves a high score.
Few defects are the low frame rate, an average longevity and poor dialogues, but other than that an amazing game!

This game is really interesting and ironically it has nothing to do with actual game.

This feels like coordinated attack to bring this game down. First it's score was (for many days) 76 (on PC version) and then for whatever reason they lowered it to 74 (on PC version) just to hurt it's reputation. So according to metacritic logic "Total War Saga: Troy" is better game than watch dogs

It's also obvious that if youtuber "penguinz0" never made his hate video on this game, it would have pretty decent user score, but after his video went up his fanboys came to this site to bring this game down. He doesn't care that many people were waiting for this game or that people know the difference between GTA series and Watch_Dogs series. All "penguinz0" cares about is whining about Ubisoft as much as he can. It's sad that he is that way and it's sad that people like him have that much power to destroy great games, but that's the reality we live.

Ubisoft needs to just stop making games. Valhalla had a trash story. Watch Dogs Legion had a trash story. Don't be surprised if Far Cry has a trash story.

Look at how many games they had in development at the same time.

It doesn't even matter because they will still make their money either way. No point even talking about it.

But all of that quickly faded away to give place to an extremely dull world, full of copy-paste missions (if you can even call them missions). The plot is uninteresting and very boring. Most of the gadgets are actually useless so you cannot try to vary your own approach to the game either. I also didn’t like car handling, it feels very unrealistic. I don’t mind arcade style, but the cars in this game are boring to drive.

I strongly believe that what could have saved this game is an extensive coop mode. A coop mode as in do missions together and use synergies of multiple approches on an objective instead of one always similar and linear way. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all since the coop possibilities of WDL are very limitative.

Ubisoft continues to deceive on its deliveries. I am pessimistic for the future, and so are their shareholders judging on UBI’s stock price.

Drones - Drones have increased use in this game compared to watchdogs 2, Cargo drone is by far one of the best, hijacking one and using it in missions can be fun. Permadeath mode - is a welcome challenge for anyone for more hardcore gamers, resulting in your operatives dying and losing them forever, combined with hard mode alcan make this game a challenge. Adverts - in this game radio adverts can be heard in some locations, for example there is an ad that features the tag line "see it, say it, sorted" which is Very accurate as in the UK there are government adverts at trains rations pushing this exact phrase, blew my mind the first time I heard it. Story - It's ok Poor Voice acting - all characters sound so beyond fake and lifeless paired with their overtop the top London accents
Poor framerate--whilst playing this game I've noticed a lot of stutters with overall low responsiveness. Lack of a sense of progression - no skill tree, replaced with tech upgrades with are found densely populated over the map, so no real challenge, all real abilities which would normally be on a skill tree and locked to certain characters which you either have to get lucky with RNG.
Characters abilities - some are quite pathetic in the trailers we see a "bee keeper" who can summon robotic drones apon his foes, in game this does barely any damage and makes you wonder why you spent any time unlocking him. Combat - Generic, some characters have their won moveset but it gets repetive very quickly. Map - quite small that personally felt quite empty, not many cars on the road, if they're was cars they had no passengers and were just semi autonomous cars, you cannot enter any shops, the underground is just a few steps down from ground level blocking you off from seeing anything with ticket machines. Cars - very few cars, the one big truck I wanted to drive, you can't, it's autonomous

Honestly this game could be alright but everything else just makes it seem like a rushed copy and paste basic game. This game was so unenjoyable for me I had to sell it in the first week
My personal experience places this game to be the worst of all 3 watchdogs games with watch dogs 2 being the best. I honestly can't recommend this game to anyone, the only people I could possible recommend this to is a child who wanted GTA but isn't allowed GTA or someone who just wants to look at London (even though you can do that on Google maps for free).

There is nothing more to the gameplay than to sneak, kill - repeat 1000x times or just go all out.
The story is not interesting. Basically this game could be just a sneaky kill simulator for 20$ in the store.

The idea of controlling many characters and not sticking to one or a few main characters that are with throughout the whole game is a mood killer. I did not feel attached to any character - I didn't care about any of them, and that translates into me not caring about the game itself.

Support for haptic feedback while shooting is a plus, and recreating London ingame is cool too. But I think the developers mainly focused on just making a game that says "wow look we have made London and you can make a cool army of hackers". In reality this is really boring

Ubisoft's characters have no substance or (ironically) character, and their stories and worlds are a mishmash of over the top representation of how the world sees the far-left, and how the far-left sees the world.

Their script team must have bullet points which consist of:
    - Government bad
    - Anti-Establishment hip
    - British people love the word shag

I've never attempted to speed run a game as badly as I did with this one. I must have gotten into about 7-9 hours of the game (most of it playing the keepy-up football mini game) and I had to google the mission list, and when I saw that I was near the start I lost all interest in the characters and the story and decided to just gun for it.

Let's talk about the characters, play who you want sounded like such a potential quirk in a video game, but alas it doesn't matter as they have no defining features, even their special traits are lacklustre and bear no usefulness once you unlock a verity of standard abilities which all of your characters will posses. In the end I think I stuck to one character, and the rest were just there for convenience whenever my chosen character would die and then I would be forced to pick someone else.

Now the story... Literally YouTube watch it, I'm sure there is someone out there who actually cared about it, but the dialogue and voice acting was too bad for me to handle another second of cinematic cut scenes... The only time in video game history I'm thankful for a skip button.

The missions are mind numbingly repetitive... Drive to destination, break into destination, hack terminal, escape.

I'm not sure what made me think that this franchise would be revived after the borefest that was Wath_Dogs 2, but it felt basically the same but with a different setting. The first game wasn't amazing but the story had emotion and the main character had background, so you felt sort of invested at the start... This is basically you start the game, you die at the start, your organisation gets rebuilt... Oh and there's a witty AI that basically comes off as an Aldi version of JARVIS.

I've clocked 21 hours on this game according to my PS5, but I reckon 6 hours of them 21 were spent on pause whilst I got distracted by YouTube , or doing something else... but I put in those hours just so I could complete it and give my honest opinion.

I couldn't recommend this game without feeling some part of my soul being obtained by the devil himself. You may have a few hours of fun doing the same thing over and over again, but I'd highly recommend you save your hard earned money and buy something else.

    TL;DR:

Watch_Dogs: Legion is a repetitive borefest, that is a carbon copy of it's predecessor. Don't waste your money, or at least wait for it to be on sale for £15-20, which won't be too long.

The gameplay, although repetitive, is fun at heart
    Looks great

    Cons:
Gameplay isn't diverse, feels like every mission is formulaic. Infiltrate, hack, shoot. It's also not very challenging, it's easy to lose police/enemies. Particularly after a mission you will have to escape an area but sometimes this is literally walking out the front door. This makes the side missions particularly unattractive, as for the most part they don't offer anything new.

The dialogue can be a bit weird sometimes. I think this is a by-product of having to have so many variations for what your characters say in response to a standard line.

There are a lot of bugs. None game breaking that I encountered, but common enough to be immersion ruining and a bit disappointing. Things like invisible vehicles, your character exiting a moving vehicle with ease. It seems mostly around the vehicles to be honest.

The story is okay at best. I enjoyed following the threads but none of the different branches felt particularly long or standout. The "central" storyline also felt weak and I think this was a consequence of a standard cast of characters.

I didn't hate this game, and enjoyed it for the most part, but I didn't think it was particularly good. I wouldn't recommend it for full price at the moment

Watch Dogs: Legion is frustratingly close to being an innovative, modern-day classic. But it's not. It's average at best.

Let's start with the good: Well, the graphics are good, as expected nowadays for a game with this budget. The novel twist of being able to recruit anyone is interesting. The London map is physically well put together, although some residential and park areas would have been welcome, as would things like Wembley stadium. It's more the centre of London rather than London. Erm, that's about it for the good.

Now, onto the bad: The idea of being able to hire different characters to your cause, all with their own unique skills, sounds great. But their 'skills' just aren't that different or that interesting. It's essentially just another way of selecting a basic weapon. Also, you'll end up playing the whole game with the construction worker. This is really the biggest issue the game faces...the construction worker has access to a cargo drone. This breaks the game. It means you can hop on and fly around literally anywhere you want, skipping all the obstacle-course like setups to access collectibles and door-keys etc. Additionally, whilst there are various gadgets you can select, all you need is the spider-bot, which is as equally game-breaking as the cargo drone. It does everything, so you don't have to. It can crawl through the hundreds of vents in the game, and access areas, and even complete objectives, all without you needing to physically be there. I completed the whole game using only this one gadget. They should have forced you to utilise a wide range of gadgets to overcome different challenges, but they don't. And this brings me onto my next gripe...every single mission is the same. Go here. Fly on cargo drone. Send spider bot through vents. Hack something. Rinse and repeat forever. The missions are boring and unimaginative and there is little variety. The very first Watchdogs game has you hacking an entire baseball stadium's lights in the first 5 minutes. This was amazing. Nothing like that here.

If you do ever get caught out, easy...just shoot everyone. The game encourages mass-murder, even though you are supposed to be the good guys. No police come. No-one cares. Just kill everyone and you're set. Speaking of police, it's difficult to get a 5-star chase going even if you try. You can kill everyone in the street and the police don't care. If you are ever chased by them, just drive 100 metres around the corner, and they lose you. In a supposedly futuristic, dystopian world where big brother is always watching you, they literally can't see around the bloody corner.

This game could have been brilliant. They should never have included the cargo drone, or at least made it a late game unlock, and the spider drone should have only a limited use. Each level should have been like a hitman mission, where you have to stealthily hack and sneak your way to your mission, using genuinely different skills according to your operative. It feels like they just spent ages making a nice map, and then said wouldn't it be great if you could fly? What if you could be invisible? Or shoot paint? The different ideas don't gel together to make a cohesive game.

Speaking of the map, yes it looks nice, but after a couple of hours, you've seen it all. It doesn't feel alive like the world of GTA, and you will end up fast travelling everywhere soon enough. I would have liked some bigger missions that span different areas of the map and cause visible changes to the world, but there is nothing like that, except briefly at the end of the game, for about 5 minutes.

There's a lot more I could say about this game, but most of it will be negative. It's such a shame because the ingredients are there for something truly unique and great. But the execution, poor mission design, lifeless world, repetitive objectives and 2 game-braking gadgets, as well as no real progression tree that matters, lets everything down. I have always loved Watchdogs as a concept and think it's been overshadowed by GTA. But Ubisoft should learn from Rockstar. It doesn't even have weather cycles. If they wanted to represent London...make it bloody rain! It rains 9 months a year here. I'm British, I should know.

Finally, the music...the radio stations all play some weird heavy metal/rock crap. This is London. There should have been a lot more UK hip-hip, grime, garage, and drill music. This is big here. They know this because Stormzy makes a guest appearance in the game, Yet his own genre of music is almost non-existent in the game.

There are no helicopters, planes, cats, dogs or birds in the sky. No clubbers out at night. No random events happening. Just NPC's. And, as per usual Ubisoft fashion, a bunch of boring collectibles littering the map. The platinum trophy will put you to sleep. As will the game itself.

Almost great, but nearer to trash, in the end. Ubisoft...please change how you make games.

I dreaded Legion as I expected it to be the same, especially after hearing you pick and choose characters off the street to play as, meaning another thin story and shallow characters. Right? Actually, the characters in legion are far more interesting than those of watchdogs 2, all 9 million of them! I recruited many for their attributes that they could offer the team. But found it amazing how they all linked into the narrative of the story and became major plot devices.
The level design is great. Each mission feels very different. There's even a platforming level as a spider bot in big ben!
Very dark yet very interesting plot. Feels like playing a Black Mirror game. Some missions were jaw-dropping, and made me pause in shock, especially levels involving Skye Larsen.

I do wish there as a big more variation in the recruitment missions as I found them repetitive especially as I was constantly recruiting and retiring people trying to build the perfect team. Not a huge problem if you don't plan to have a full team, but for those of us constantly recruiting for the best combination of attributes doing the same dock warehouse nonstop gets old.
One thing I miss from WD2 is the hackability to issue arrest warrants or call gang hits. Also no way to hack civilians for money anymore. likewise, no upgrade to highlight citizens that have a lot of good abilities/money.

The game is pretty and London is beautifully represented here (it looks even better in the game than in real life!). One of the best games I've played in a while.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Watch Dogs Legion is sadly a mediocre game that removes a lot of mechanics that were in Watch Dogs 2. New gameplay is not introduced, instead of a RC toy car you get a remote controlled spider, which is very strong and can be used to beat almost all content in the game. The people you play as are random so there is a chance your spy character might be very unappealing to you and there is no way you can change that. The main story feels way too long in my opinion, you do the same style of missions over and over again until you destroy all the evil organizations in London. The highlight of this game are ironically the side activities, I had more fun playing the kick up side game where you juggle the football as long as you can and also the darts side activity. You cannot pickup weapons from enemies for some reason as well. In watch dogs 2 you could purchase many different weapons and customize your loadout. In WD Legion you have 4 weapons to choose from and that is it. Hacking feels much weaker, there is no signature blackout hack or the mass shutdown hack. Ubisoft should probably put this franchise on hold if they cannot come up with a more fun gameplay loop. Expand

The idea of being able to recruit and control just about any NPC in London is probably one of the games biggest selling points, unfortunately, it's also one of the reasons it isn't as much fun as Watch Dogs 2. You can keep recruiting operatives up to a limit of 45, but they all feel like a hollow shell. Because you can chop and change between them, its unlikely you will really care what happens to them. This takes away some of the interest as they are little more than drones doing your bidding with zero character development.

Graphics are good and crisp, if not particularly ground breaking for next gen. Cars handle badly, but they always did in this series, but there is a startling lack of variety in vehicles. As far as I can tell all the same models are all the same colour. For an open world game, there really isn't a lot you can do except play the story, so don't expect the depth you would find in a GTA game. Sound is ok, only playing in stereo so I can't comment on any 3D performance.

This game is not groundbreaking, but it also isn't a bad game. It's better than average, is fun to play and for an early next gen game, isn't as buggy as I imagined it would be. People giving it 0 and saying it's the worst game ever are just overreacting. Not sure what they expected from Ubisoft, its as if they've not bought one of their games before. Personally, I really like their games and will hopefully have this game finished soon.

Update. Managed to get things sorted and have actually had a great time playing this since. Loads to do though some of it is typical open world grinding, it's still fun

Also the gameplay mechanics are too basic for a hacker based game. There are not many ways to approach a mission. The result is that you always end with a shootout. The story itself was ok at best. The plot twists made it interesting but other than that, it was not memorable. Also, recruiting your team is not fun at all because of the ‘if you something for me, I will join tour team’ quests.

The story is a bit sci-fi cliche, but there were some good elements in there. I thought the last 10-20% of the game was a bit redundant - and anti-climatic in the end. However, I really enjoyed the majority of my time.
    Pros:
Great experience of virtual London - with a great open-city vibe.
Combat / missions had a good feel / difficulty
Very good ray-tracing based hybrid graphics for platform
Ambitious creative cast of home-chosen characters
Lots of content; especially loved the variety in the region 'liberations'
Great clothing options - fun to customize characters.
    Good variety in solving bases
    Cons:
Would be good to have more prominent 'important NPCs' in the story
The upgrades seem less important than I would like
Story elements tend to be centred around the same locations; could have more variety
Driving is fun, but lack of importance in main game.
There aren't as many differences between characters that I would like.

Watch Dogs Legion had SO much potential, but has unfortunately just fallen short of the mark. I still had a lot of fun playing the game, but I feel like with just a bit more time and resource this could have honestly been a contender for game of the year.

Starting with what it did right: the gameplay is a lot of fun. There are so many ways to tackle different missions, from walking in there all guns blazing to stealthing, or sending in your spider bot to scope the area and take out some enemies, to using drones to evaluate what lays ahead, setting drones to betray the enemies to start the attack, hacking cameras, setting traps etc etc. Even though a lot of the missions are actually very similar, this variety in approaches means that you can have a lot of fun doing things in different ways. I also really enjoyed the storyline and the main characters. Bagley especially is absolutely hilarious at times.

Areas for improvement would be the environment itself. I'm British and I was so excited to play a game based in London, but for whatever reason it just doesn't end up that exciting to play it. It all seems a bit grey and dreary and didn't provide the same level of excitement as San Francisco did in Watch Dogs 2. Maybe they should've added some countryside, or just brightened things up a bit - I don't really know - but for whatever reason it left me disappointed.

The police system is good but basically never used. I can only remember 1 mission (plus courier missions) where the police came after me; even then it was only with 2 out of 5 stars. I don't know why they didn't use this more to test your skills at escaping. There were some fun missions with obstacle courses for drones and spider bots. I would've loved to have seen more of these and perhaps even time trials or races. Drone races and car races could've added a bit of exciting new content to keep things varied. The car races could've even had certain hacking power-ups to make it more than just a straight racing game. Missed opportunity there in my mind.

The 'play as anyone' system definitely led to some fun characters and missions, but a lot of the recruitment missions felt very samey and once you have a few characters with powers/weapons you like, there's not much point anymore. Maybe they could have tailored certain missions to be suited to certain specialists. E.g. tell you in advance that you'll want a hacker or a drone expert for the next mission so you are encouraged to switch around. Otherwise I tended to play it safe and use my hitman since she had the best weapons and I didn't know what I was likely to encounter. It would have also been good if you could upgrade your characters in some way - either by buying 'training' upgrades or swapping powers and weapons between characters or something. There were some cool characters I recruited but basically never played with since they were underpowered compared to others. The money system is really poor. You can only spend money on clothes, appearance (hair, tattoos, make-up etc.), car colours and weapons skins. You're also really limited in the money you can earn. I maybe got a total of 200,000 during my playthrough and some of the stuff costs around 15,000 so it doesn't leave much to play with. There is no good way to earn a decent amount of money as far as I know. Would've been nice to use money for more than just cosmetics and be able to actually buy weapons, cars and more powerful abilities for individual characters.

Ultimately it is a game that I have a lot of love for and would definitely recommend. I hope they don't give up on the series and the play as anyone idea as they have tons of potential if tweaked a little!

I've been a fan of the Watch Dogs series since the beginning. Legion was a dramatic departure from previous games however, because there is no set character. Anyone off the street can join Dedsec and the characters are different for everyone.

One thing that's the same for everyone, user character dialog is short and minimal for everyone, and there is absolutely no character development. That is the downfall of this game. You don't become attached to your characters because the story isn't built around them. There is a "permadeath" option for characters and if your character dies they are gone for good. But you won't feel bad.

There's still a story, and still non-interactive characters to push it along, but I honestly did not like playing a character that is truly a nobody and doesn't really talk except for useless British one-liners to agree, disagree or comply.

Graphically on the PS5 it looks good and FPS is high enough. There is some raytracing in the puddles and window reflections. The vehicle and people physics are at times laughably poor however. GTA V, a 6 year older game did it much better. I expect way more from a AAA title like this. As of this writing there are a few graphical glitches in the interface also.

Overall the game was fun enough for me to finish, but much less fun than Watchdogs 2 because of the lack of character development, and far less polished too. And now to get into the other issues:

Half my trophies are on the PS4 and half are on the PS5. They are split up. The autosave system fails often, losing hours of play time. You better use the in menu cloud save AND back up saves to USB if you upgrade to PS5 midgame, because once you do it starts you at the beginning as if you never played.

Install size on the PS5 when installed from a PS4 disc is 70GB, because both the FULL versions of each game are required on the hard drive. You can download the "PS5 upgrade" for free but it's actually the entire game installed separately. Select version PS5 to play. Pull out the disc, put it back in and it defaults to PS4. Start the game and it starts at the beginning and your save is gone! I sh1t you not! If I didn't use the Cloud save and/or a USB save backup I would have rage quit this game. Be very careful if upgrading a PS4 disc to play on a PS5. Ubisoft botched the save system and the PS5 upgrade system BAD.

I expect some improvements and fixes with updates over time, but as of this writing December 2020 that's where it stands.

Year in year out their games depreciate in quality. I loved watchdogs 2, even completed it. I'm not so sure want to complete this game. This is a last-gen game, made only to appease online gamers. Offline the game sucks. I really expected more. Expand

Gameplay, soundtrack, environment are all great. The voice acting and lack of a real story protoganist are serious flaws that shouldn't go unsaid. Fun game to **** around in. Could have been way better.

It's alright definitely a downgrade from watch dogs 2 but the story is okay I do love the fact that you can play as almost any character I think that's pretty cool but its just not the greatest thing ever

I tried really hard to like this game. Unfortunately it underperformed. It seems Ubisoft took "next Gen" to mean jam a few more pixels in and ship it. It lacks polish in smoothness of the environment and most notably character movement. However, the concept is actually quite cool

What a great game! London is so well re-created, there's so much fun things to do in this game. Hacking is better than ever. I got this game for Christmas because I really like the watchdogs series 2 being the only one I completed but some of the NPCs are kinda useless and they do have the "recruit anyone" but most are repeats of powers or useless unless your going for a specific build or character and not one I go back to to often and the recruitment missions can be boring

The Game is full of Bugs, the gameplay isn’t fun at all, the game is really full full of bugs on a PS5, the only good thing about the game is the Raytracing, the Online Mode is boring as hell and Full of bugs as well I mean you can’t even finish a mission without restarting it 5 times. It acully like this game more than gta. It is super fun to drive around when you can hack other cars and create caos. Sure the caracters can feel limited but thats so you cant play the whole game with just one and thats the smart route I guess.

This game have's a lot of bugs (as usual of the Ubisoft games), and its have issue's on the main story, and connecting the player to the story, because its have not a main character like WatchDogs 1 or 2, its have a lot of characters you can get them into the team, but you can't understand them.
*I have 27 hours of gameplay in game, and I've completed the main story*

Raises good questions about where our society is heading. Without the addition of Wrench and Aiden with DLC, the playable characters are the only flaw of this game. Did not like the team logistics where you can switch between multiple operatives. Brave game exploring difficult topics. Highly suggest if you liked the first two.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm from London and I have been craving for a game where I could roam and then complete missions within. It's hit that objective! Its a good representation of London with lots of iconic sites and features. The game is good with a decent story line including the Bloodline. I waited until the dlc came out where I completed 90% of the missions with those two characters alone (Aiden pearce WD1 & Wrench WD 2) Dont bother using any of the others. Do not turn on permadeath if you want to continue with them after death. It's abit repetitive like any other Ubisoft game. Expand

I think London is gorgeous. The people are spot on. I love the different people you can recruit and play as, different attributes. I say 10 plus really. It’s just a fun game. I’ll never be able to afford to fly to London and stay at a hotel. But At least this game gives me a chance to be there. It’s very hard for me to get use to driving left side of road. It’s just different. I never realized London has so many one way streets. It’s just fantastic game fantastic rendering, A+++++++++. I love the missions. They are just fun and enjoyable. I’m 46 yrs old. I was playing the Commodore 64 and 128 when I was growing up. I would dream that games would be like this one day. I’m so thankful to see it and experience it. Expand

The driving can feel a little “floaty” at times and the lack of a main protagonist does harm this game a little as you don’t follow one persons story throughout, but the “recruit anyone” idea is still fantastic and love that Ubisoft took a risk of it. The DLCs help with the lack of a main protagonist by introducing Aiden and Wrench from 1 & 2, so the only main pain point is he driving for me. It regularly goes on sale, so if you find it going for 50% off, then I highly recommend a buy! Expand

I try to categorize my games when I play so I don't feel like I'm playing the same game when playing more than one game at a time...but this felt like i played it before, and this is my 1st Watch dogs... This game fell in the category for me as open world, shoot and hide but it didn't really deliver.. The game lacked depth and character building...felt like a foreign gta game.

    Has great

While its dystopian, futuristic London may smell of Grand Theft Auto open worlds, Watch Dogs Legion's approach to recruiting any NPC differentiates the formula in a unique way, creating a fascinating blend of freedom, action, stealth, and roguelikes.
  2. 60
What you end up with is an experience that shows a ton of promise, but ends up being entirely average. It’s hard to call Watch Dogs Legion a bad game outright. It’s a serviceable, if traditional, open-world game with a boring story and novelty mechanics that play out better on paper than in execution. The PS5 version makes expected improvements to visuals and load times, but isn’t a standout example of a “next-gen” title.
  3. 65
Watch Dogs: Legion is a far more palatable experience on PS5 thanks to its vastly-improved load times and splendid visual upgrades. The only real technical gripes are that there’s little in the way of DualSense implementation, and the framerate, while steady, hasn’t been upped. Its base problems of open-world fatigue and messy storytelling are still problems that can’t be so easily fixed and still remain a significant barrier to enjoyment. It’ll give you a dazzling trip to London, but you wouldn’t want to stay there.
