    I can't believe that critics gave it such a low score. This is 10 out of 10 experience for me. Literally every frame is overflowing with love and diligence that has been put into it. Music, art, characters, puzzles. Seriously Play it.

    Good-
    Strong visual direction; Solid puzzle design; Good movement mechanics; Consistent drip feed of new abilities that keep things fresh.
    Bad- Story is somewhat simple; occasionally frustrating puzzles. Thoughts- In conclusion, Trine 5 is a sequel that knows its strengths and focuses on polishing them to an even higher degree. The story is still simple and the combat doesn’t pull    Good-

    Thoughts-
    In conclusion, Trine 5 is a sequel that knows its strengths and focuses on polishing them to an even higher degree. The story is still simple and the combat doesn’t pull any punches either, but the co-op puzzling core of it all remains an enjoyable affair through and through. Trine 5 does have a few edges, but it’s still a surprisingly solid game and probably a great choice for some fun with friends.    … Expand

    Gorgeous visuals, excellent optimization, charming characters, creative puzzles, humor (yes, the game finally has a full-fledged story, dialogues and cutscenes). Lovely game

    Ari Pulkkinen again caresses my ears with this wonderful music, artists delight my eyes with incredibly beautiful landscapes, and familiar characters make funny jokes and go on yet another adventure. Great game

    A worthy successor to Trine 2. Every aspect of the game is top notch, and the artists should be given a monument to their work on the art of this game.

    Trine 5 continues on the foundation of the previous games and offers just a bit more variety thanks to the expansion in character abilities. The puzzles are also more varied and the build-up in difficulty is enjoyable. All this together makes Trine 5 a fine platformer that we can recommend although we should note that the combat segments do not reach the level of the rest of the game.

    While Trine 5 doesn’t completely overhaul the series, it adds enough improvements to take the series to its most complete form. Whether you are playing alone or with a group of friends, Trine 5 offers hours of entertainment that can be hardly matched anywhere else.

    If you’ve enjoyed the Trine series up to this point then you are in for a treat, Trine 5 is by far the best entry yet, offering puzzles that are phenomenally inventive and an utter delight to solve. If you haven’t taken the plunge yet with Trine, then now is the perfect chance. If only we could ditch the combat and have twice the puzzles, then truly would Trine reach co-op puzzling perfection.
