Looks horrible and the PS5 sounds like a plane when I played this game definitely not recommended

Disgusting, to be honest. The game may be good in terms of gameplay, but otherwise it does not deserve its popularity from critics.

I am a longtime fan of the series. started with THPS 3 and 4 on PS1 then different parts on PS2.
I am very surprised that my usual game mechanics are completely broken. In the game, the speed decreases constantly, even if you gain it decently. The game makes you do different things all the time and alternate sliding, ramp, manual, jumping off the walls. Everything would be good if it
I am a longtime fan of the series. started with THPS 3 and 4 on PS1 then different parts on PS2.
I am very surprised that my usual game mechanics are completely broken. In the game, the speed decreases constantly, even if you gain it decently. The game makes you do different things all the time and alternate sliding, ramp, manual, jumping off the walls. Everything would be good if it weren't so bad. Having jumped once onto the ramp, you will not repeat this again, you are forced to leave it. So as not to lose speed and break the combo. Here are just 1. Most of the locations are designed so that you would spend much more time on the ramps! Previously, the player could choose what he wants to do now, fly on the ramp or slide on surfaces while moving around the location. I wanted to go to the ramp and there at least half an hour knock out a combo in the air. Now maximum you can jump 2 times on the ramp. The third time and you will knock out all combos.
The first problem is a very bad speed failure on the ramp, which is very sad. It was possible to do at least 5 bounces without reducing the speed in the combo.
The second problem and the most important one! My PS1 and PS2 register button input much better than this remaster! I have a hard time doing a revert followed by a manual when jumping off a ramp 50% of the time. The game just doesn't have time to register my clicks! It's just unthinkable! I'm shocked! In order not to lose the combo, I have to switch from the d-pad keys to the analog sticks so as not to lose the combo and so that the game registers my manual after revert!
It makes it impossible and extremely painful for me to switch from my usual game to PS1 and PS2 in this remaster!
Just think! there are locations with some ramps, but you cannot keep a combo on them for a long time more than 2 jumps! And this despite the fact that there are levels as a bonus with a ship where there is nothing at all except a huge ramp!
Developers! you are crazy?!! Who have you ruined the gameplay balance for? You'd better remove the possibility of endless combos when balancing is reset and some players find ways they can do endless combos! Just doing the same path ad infinitum! Instead of encouraging the player to create constantly different tricks and different mechanics, you force the players to find one way and endlessly farm points on it

Long live the Briefcases! it is the only explanation why this game has that note and has the second position in the best PS5 games.
Vivan los Maletines!! es la única explicación de por qué tiene este juego esa nota y tenga la segunda posición en los mejores juegos de PS5.

It's probably me being suck at the game but regardless this game didn't work on me. Mundane repeat practice was just too much for me.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remains a masterpiece of a remake. The spirit of the first two games is kept alive here, while the presentation puts it at the higher echelon of remakes that have been released thus far. If you never owned the PS4 iteration, then the PS5 version is the perfect way to jump in. If you have a 4K set or a screen with high refresh rates, then the upgrade might also be worth it — more so than the additions of the controller triggers and vibration. If you're going physical on this one, be on the lookout for the Deluxe Edition, as the PS5-only disc is the same price minus the extra cosmetics.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is still a wicked game no matter what version you choose. This updated version is sure to be enough to please perfectionists and looks incredible. Here is hoping we get more Tony Hawk games for years to come. Wonderful job again Vicarious Visions.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 as remasters of two classic trendsport games ist not perfect, but comes very close. On the new console generation even more with its crisper visuals, near perfect control and reduced loading times.
