Just feels borderlands 3 with less things to do and less legendaries to farm. Practically all legendaries in this game only come from chaos chambers and that’s it. Also the over world breaks up the game too much

As a huge fan of the Borderlands series, this is a big disappointment. I played through the entire game in split-screen, and the UI bugs/issues are just gamebreaking. It feels like zero user-testing was done before release. Some notable ones:
    - No way to inspect an item in the inventory without clicking on it. Going back doesn't leave you at the current item, but at the top of the list.

    - No way to inspect an item in the inventory without clicking on it. Going back doesn't leave you at the current item, but at the top of the list. With the max inv size of 70, this is very annoying
    - Inspecting an item in the shop is even worse, as going back just exits the shop. I stopped checking shops entirely for this reason
    - Items in the bank constantly lose their image.

In addition to this, chaos levels are very bugged. This is unfortunate since I really liked this aspect. Being at chaos level 14, I had to rerun chaos trials frequently because they didn't unlock. Bosses also bugged out multiple times (disappearing after a death).
The game itself is... mediocre. I didn't think the writing was as awful as people claim, but the lower pegi rating doesn' fit in with the franchise. The overworld was a drag, as was the main story (which was EXTREMELY short. I played DLC's that were longer). I liked the side quests though. Honestly, I still somewhat enjoyed the game, but the bugs are unacceptable.

Damn what a missfire. I really wanted to like this game and be positive about it. But it is not worth the price they are selling it for. Main story is very short and boring. Side quests are not bad. The only thing i really like was the Rogue like endgame. But it got repitative really fast.

The "dlc", if you can even call the shody reskin that, is 10 mins long for a glorified chaos chamber run.
At £9.99, £24.99 for the season pass, you expect far more for it especially considering the same in BL2 was £3 for the headhunter packs which had far more content than what this has offered.

Scummy practices from a once great developer!!

More borderlands is always good. Great fun in coop, shame of the many bugs. It could have been a lot better if they took more time.

Great core mechanics and gameplay spoiled by lazy boring writing, and repeated outdated lazy stereotypes. Honestly this game has some of the worst dialogue I have ever seen, and NPC's for side quest waffle on for minutes at a time for no apparent reason again spouting out boringly dull stereotypes

Damn, this is pretty bad. I keep trying to like this but all I keep getting are greens and customizations. It's difficult to get into this. I dunno this reminds me of another Presequel. I can't recommend you buy this full price. It's a twist loiter shooter... Without the losot part... ..

I used to be a huge Borderlands fan and I really want to like this game. While I like the humor and loot gameplay part not the quality of drops), the rest of the game totally misses the mark. It’s like have you even played the previous game mates? It’s like after the Prequel, the programmers said screw the quality. We just wanna get paid.

Let's start off with the good: they used the same quality of life improvements they added to BL3. The gameplay is tight and it's fun building your characters. For the first time ever, they have a character creation which is great, it makes it feel more like your character. The boss fights are fun and imaginative for the most part. The level design is also a lot of fun. No Ava.

Now for the bad: The game is crazy short for a BL game and you can be max level well before the final story mission. This isn't a real issue, but it makes the game feel too short and there is no real reason to do end game unless you love grinding the same thing over and over again to gain chaos levels. The game didn't fix the horrible anointed system introduced by BL3. There is a lot more, but the final thing I want to touch on is the horrible DLCs. The DLCs for this game are an insult to the franchise and everything gamers love about BL. Instead of sprawling story DLCs, this time, they decided to shove garbage down our throats. What was once given out for free as the Cartel runs in BL3, are now $10 a pop. $10 for 10 mins of content. Yes, the content is repeatable, but tell me a boss or level in the entire franchise that isn't repeatable. You can't because that's the entire BL experience, grinding bosses to get their loot.

People are defending this because developers deserve money for their work. Sure, I get that. What they don't deserve is to run a franchise into the ground because they decide to charge for something that used to be free. Literally no one would have any issues with the DLC if they were timed events like the Cartel runs in BL3.

This game is extremely expensive. The greedy developers are charging $70 for a Borderlands 3 DLC expansion. In what world does a story DLC cost more than the actual game itself at launch? The graphics are atrocious. The developers use the comic book art style as an excuse to be lazy and greedy. The customization is trash. The physics are garbage.

The voice acting is beyond horrible and over-exaggerated. I am getting sick and tired of developers hiring voice actors that over-exaggerate their voices for video games. It sounds unnatural and annoying. Then again, I can't really expect much from directors and actors that joined the video game world after failing miserably to make it to Hollywood. Tiny Tina's voice acting is the absolute worst, to the point where I almost wanted to slam my TV on the floor if I heard her annoying voice again. The dialogue is extremely cringeworthy. This game tries too hard to be funny. You can't even travel between worlds in real-time. So the developers added some big head midget weirdo to travel between worlds. That is very PS1-like.

The multiplayer is complete trash. If the developers are going to charge a ridiculous price of $70 for DLC, then I expect more multiplayer content. $70 and no PvP multiplayer. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. The developers added the overused mechanic where numbers keep popping up for every time you shoot an enemy, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. I don't recommend this game at all. Just wait for it to be free on PS Plus.

It has jokes but boring, and mad repetitive endgame conten. It’s ok, but far from a game worth 70$ it’s just a waste. If you have borderlands 3? Stay there

Also the online coop functionality has been broken since launch due to the shoddy shift system, if you want to play online with your friends, wait until they have fixed it, its actually depressing going through the whole game in single player when all you want to do is coop with friends, very disappointed in gearbox to be honest & I wont be pre-ordering anything from them again. Over all a awesome game. BUT I didn’t like the myth rank because it wasn’t as limitless as borderlands 2 and 3. Plus why is there no option to restart your campaign at level 40? Also make the game where myth ranks gets permanent unlock at level 40 for all new characters you want to play

How you felt about Borderlands 3 will most probably tell you what you need to know about TTW

Its a short looter shooter, which was the first let down. In a sword and sorcery setting there is very little magic and melee. Its all about the guns again, with grenades now being magic and melee being buffed slightly. Its biggest issue though is the cluttered and outdated Ui and the voice

Its biggest issue though is the cluttered and outdated Ui and the voice acting. There is ALOT of voice acting, and the voice actors put in the effort to be as annoying and grating as possible.

One positive is that you can customize your characters appearance now, something hopefully future Borderlands games will keep. Main storyline wasn't very long, hopefully there is content added in the future.

Seriously, are there ANY WRITERS OUT THERE? ANYONE? Who wrote this garbage!? Literally the entire storyline is "fight the bad guy" and its just side quests. 100% side quests. No story. No character development. AND i have to listen to WANDA SYKES be UNFUNNY? I mean at least its not listening to 3 whiny narcissists ALL THE TIME like in BL3, but seriously,

Wonderlands doesn’t rewrite the Borderlands formula, but remixes it into a riotous, winking love letter to tabletop role-playing. Gearbox lands another Critical Hit. [Issue#14, p.80]
