Over all a awesome game. BUT I didn’t like the myth rank because it wasn’t as limitless as borderlands 2 and 3. Plus why is there no option to restart your campaign at level 40? Also make the game where myth ranks gets permanent unlock at level 40 for all new characters you want to play

A really nice improvement of the Borderlands formula, with better writing, better humor, a much more interesting setting, and the worlds are something incredible.

I don't understand people who say it's a dlc. It is a game where you spend hundreds of hours. Masterpiece like any other Borderlands

I have to say I really enjoy this game, started playing on the release and fooling around with a spellshot/sporewarden, currently at level 30ish.
A few bugs has been encoutered but nothing major at all, the humor is awesome and I really think that this is a blast!

I’m sorry, very sorry for the italians bombing review for not be able to understand what is happening in a game because they still in 1800 and they can’t speak other language than Dante’s one.

    God, save Italy. Please.

I have no idea why people say the game is a copy of borderlands 3. Funniest borderlands game so far. The combat improved so much since borderlands 2. The overworld itself is magnificent and beautiful. The green lands and the beach are a really good change from the last game. Borderlands 3 had this ugly atlas city and mostly a desert, so it is a really refreshing change. (I know thats not 100% true but i really didnt like how it looked) as i mentioned earlier, the game made me and my friends laugh almost every time someone was talking, even out of mission conversations. For example, I was playing the graveborn, and he has a demi-leech as his class feat, that has a really funny voice and lines. (Not going to spoil anyting, see for yourself.) Overall i think the game is absolutely brilliant. Expand

Can't wait to start my second solo playthrough and I am also loving my two-player co-op playthrough. The co-op mechanic works really well and the story and dialogue are even funnier when shared with a friend - we plan to spend a lot of 2022 hanging out in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands!

(On those reviews saying it didn't add much to Borderlands... Wonderlands not only nails the melee and spells, it also establishes a very compelling and immersive new world!)

Thank you ever so much for this game! Easily the most fun I've ever had on a launch week.

Really fun adaptation of the gameplay built by Borderlands 3. The dialogue and story telling takes a massive step up from 3 as well. I also find the level design, specifically the overworld, to be very charming and a great mix of classic RPG fantasy and borderlands over the top ridiculousness. The one thing that holds this game back is the loot system, as you have to complete most of the game to get good drop rates, and many side bosses don't respawn. Also there is just too much stuff that drops from enemies. It seems that every basic enemy has some ring, armor or spell to drop that in most cases is essentially worthless. Also the menus still have the horrid design from 3, and with more loot slots to manage, that means more headache inducing navigation of the menus. Overall its a step in the right direction for the series and still a fun game to pick up and play, especially with the classes and ability to mix and match 2 different classes. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is for sure one of my favorite games in the Borderlands franchise, but it is not perfect. One thing I loved about this game was the commitment to making it fell like DND (known as BNB or Bunkers and Badasses in game). While this is inspired by the fan favorite DLC from Borderlands 2, Assault on Dragon Keep, I can for sure say that this is most definitely a game worth playing.

The voice acting in the game was fantastic. I enjoyed the cast from into to credits, they always added humor to the game, and Tina would sometimes just change the environments in the middle of the game which just adds to it. One thing that comes with that however is the end game content. The lack of Tina and company after finishing everything becomes pretty obvious pretty quick as the game loses a little bit of it's charm because of it.

I also really enjoyed the fact that you not only start with 6 different classes, at a specific point in the game you get to pick another class to further enhance your build. This creates such a wide variety of builds as well as reasons to try all 6 classes to see what meshes and what does not. The other thing I enjoyed that was changed was spells. They made the game feel fresh, without feeling weaker than grenades, especially if you use the Spellshot class like I did.

So, sadly that is pretty much all the good. Besides some great side content (collectibles, side quests, overworld dungeons etc.), the end game is very boring. The Chaos Chambers are an interesting change, but they just offer more of the same that you have experienced for 10+ hours. While that gameplay is solid, the chambers don't really add much, making the end game pretty disappointing especially when you look at the lack of challenge.

Overall, I would recommend this game to Borderlands fans, but I would also warn that person of the unimpressive end game content as a precaution. I hope if Gearbox were to continue in this direction, they move forward in generally the same direction, just give that end game a bit more reason to exis and a bit more flair and things to do.

Even though I can definitely see this as the "black sheep/red-headed stepchild" of the franchise, I feel it does what Borderlands in general does right while avoiding the technical issues that plagued 3. I also love the whole board game style overmap where you run around as a miniature of yourself and engaging or avoiding random combat encounters. As for the story itself, it's not really great. It leans too much on Tina changing the way the game is played because of how insecure she is with the other characters that the humor does get stale and repetitive towards the end. Overall, a good entry in my opinion. I would never buy the Season Pass though. I'm not about to spend $30 on just one more hour of playtime. Expand

This was as delightful to play as it was laugh with all the hilarious writing for the three main characters (two of which are played be comedians) and all the delightful side characters Tina created along the way. I've played very few shooters that felt casual or silly yet somehow this game managed to capture the lightning in the bottle just right to make it a success. Wonderlands doesn’t rewrite the Borderlands formula, but remixes it into a riotous, winking love letter to tabletop role-playing. Gearbox lands another Critical Hit. [Issue#14, p.80]
