    It looks MUCH better on XBOX Series X and PC but you wouldn't know that if you came to Metacritic where only the PS5 is served. This game also trashes God of War. Better story, better voice acting, better characters, less SJW and WOKE themes. And the fact that this update is FREE and adds so much should tell you Sony just wants more money for their horrible 70-dollar games.

    Well, game of the year 2 times for a reason.
    Even 7 years later with a new release for the next Gen consoles... it holds up and especially looks fantastic in quality mode.
    Unlike some other writers, you can also feel the love for the source material.

    I played it a little bit when it came out, but then other releases came out and never went back to it. Then I heard the news about the update for PS5 and installed it again, oh boy… what have I missing, the quests, the story, the world its just amazing and with the new update for Ps5 is simply stunning. Honestly one of the best games ever made…

    The Greatest game of all time is now even better with 60 fps and improved Textures,Grass,Ray Tracing and what not.. this is still the most authentic Dark Fantasy open world available.. the Writing and atmosphere are second to none. man its The Witcher 3 just play it no need to re review it.

    I'm biast about this game so not the best one to recommend or not but if you love fantasy and RPGs this game has some of the best quests and story writing I've ever experienced in an RPG.

    One of the best open world RPG's ever made. Gameplay was fantastic, story was fantastic, all the side stuff was fantastic, graphics fantastic, sound fantastic.

    To the idiots giving it a 0......you have no clue what you're even talking about. I love how people give Game of the Year games 0's. THey are on some serious drugs, and definitely in this strange minority of gamers. Makes    One of the best open world RPG's ever made.     The addition of 3D audio on PS5 is outstanding. You hear the difference everywhere. When walking through a tavern, you can hear exactly where voices are coming from in a crowd. Fights are more exciting. The graphical improvements are significant, and performance mode seems to be the best experience. Buttery smooth, like they say, which now seems essential for sword fights. Quick Casting is a big improvement upon the original selection wheel. You don’t have to pause or think- just a press and it’s any sign you want without interruption. Walking up to destructible objects and pressing R2 + X for Aard is a pleasure, along with setting things ablaze with Igni. I would have paid for this upgrade in a heartbeat- no exaggeration. I almost want to pay something anyway, to support these massive masterpieces of games. I want to show that this is an investment well worth making so we don’t get smaller, lesser games in the future. Anyway, thank you CDPR for making this free. If you have never played The Witcher III and you’re a fan of RPGs, man are you in for one hell of a ride. Just pay the man.    … Expand

    Witcher 3 remains one of my top favourite games of all time. I think of it as more than just a video game, its a journey & you get to play as one of the coolest and most badass fictional protagonists of all time, Geralt of Rivia! I'm playing it on PS5 performance mode and it is simply gorgeous. Witcher 3 is truly an unmatched & timeless masterpiece!

    Top 5 games of all time, thank you for my friend Aaron for recommending me this masterpiece of a game. I first played it on PS4 all those years ago and fell in love with this game. Then I switched to PC to experience it again with better graphics and now finally it has come to the PS5 and it's better than ever.

    Definetly one of the best games ever created & with the next gen update, it's amazing how a 2015 game is still one of the best looking games in 2023. The only setback is the game was and is still clunky af, nevertheless, it's fun & most of the time totally playable.
    The story, characters, open world, graphics, acting & music are top. Absolute masterpiece!

    Still the masterpiece I remember from my first play through on PS4 a few years back - with Blood & Wine reaffirming the top spot on my DLC favourites list! I just love the world of The Witcher with all its memorable characters and their stories and motivations, the lore, the monsters, and how players' choices in quests absolutely matter.

    The game definitely looks better than ever.    Still the masterpiece I remember from my first play through on PS4 a few years back - with Blood & Wine reaffirming the top spot on my DLC favourites list! I just love the world of The Witcher with all its memorable characters and their stories and motivations, the lore, the monsters, and how players' choices in quests absolutely matter.

    The game definitely looks better than ever. However, I also encountered more glitches than I remember from my PS4 play through, Dualsense utilisation was disappointing, and the gameplay is starting to show its age - so, there's some room for improvements by CDPR (at least regarding the first two points).    … Expand

    Well, finally after the PS5 Update was announced I felt ready to play it finally! I could just not play it with 30fps. So now, here we are, this game is simply amazing! I just had a simple sidequest yesterday which took me an hour...so much love and design in that world and the characters! I am just in the "first" world, Velen, to search for Ciri and I have already 30hrs or even more onWell, finally after the PS5 Update was announced I felt ready to play it finally! I could just not play it with 30fps. So now, here we are, this game is simply amazing! I just had a simple sidequest yesterday which took me an hour...so much love and design in that world and the characters! I am just in the "first" world, Velen, to search for Ciri and I have already 30hrs or even more on the gameclock...still so much stuff to do there. I love that. After watching it on Netflix I feel even more connected with Gerald and how he would behave in some situations. Great game, love for details and the soundtrack is stunning! Cannot wait for more.     It's The Witcher 3, but slightly better. Not gonna **** on the "upgrade" too much. It's a free upgrade and it's definitely an upgrade, even if it didn't upgrade THAT much. I thought The Witcher 3 was a masterpiece, 10/10, perfect game. Some of the best DLC ever to boot. This is just that, again.

    A 10/10 masterpiece. People that give it a negative score cant handle such a game. Their brains are only capable of playing empty boring ubisoft games

Poi sono usciti negli anni diversi giochi con lo stile di The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. È la base per gli open world di ruolo. Parecchi prodotti negli anni sono alla The Witcher 3. Ma tendono ad essere più derivativi. Horizon Forbidden West è superiore a The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Per me il miglior open world fino ad oggi è Sonic Frontiers troppo sottovalutato.     The amount of content is absolutely ridiculous, at first you might get overwhelmed by all the activities the game throws at you, but exploring the map and doing side quests is definitely worth it, this game has perhaps the best side quests I've ever experienced, and the quest design is phenomenal.

    The dialogue options are groundbreaking, almost every quest has different outcomes and interactions, it's insane. Your actions have consequences and if you're not careful, you can miss entire questlines that can alter your experience.

    It's an all-around solid game, it does almost everything very well, except from the gameplay which is a little bit clunky so you'll have to get used to it, and some animations look weird.
    The biggest problem I have with the game personally is the amount of filler and padding in the first half of the story, it takes way too long for it to pick up, but the last few hours are just incredible.
    Also the boss fights are disappointingly simple and easy, no challenge whatsoever.

    Top Tier Open World in my opinion, it's very enjoyable from start to finish, there are so many things to do in this game.

    The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt achieved the impossible, it's unbelievable how a small Polish studio managed to create this monster of a videogame.

    The feeling of happening upon a village in your travels and discovering a whole questline that takes up hours of your time alongside a compelling story fraught with dicey moral dilemmas is truly unmatched, even now.

    The Witcher 3 was already regarded as an RPG all-timer, but this update means that the PS5 and Xbox Series X become incredible places to enjoy it, while PC players get an even more gorgeous game than before. If you've never played it, you're missing out on one of the best games ever.

    There’s not much to give an opinion on here, as much of the change implemented is visual and quality of life. It’s a welcome update, and if it’s been a while since you’ve played or if you’ve just never gotten around to it, now is a great time to do so. The Witcher 3 has been in a good place for a while, but these upgrades further cement it in it’s spot as one of the all-time greats.
