    After replaying The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, I’m more impressed than ever by its ambitious scale and how well most of it melds. Countless plot and character threads naturally progress from previous entries while the new cast is seamlessly integrated. The gameplay systems and general progressions are as addictive as I remember, too.

    The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is a correct port that improves several graphical aspects, loads faster and has all the cosmetic DLC of the original game but is limited to transferring the essence of the PS4 game to PS5. It's still an interesting JRPG with a well-built world and memorable characters.

    Trails of Cold Steel III is a quintessential JRPG through and through but we advice to take your time and play through the entire Legend of Heroes series if you really want it to pay off in the end.
