    This is an Honest Review from someone that has played mostly all Fighting Games in the last 15 years or so.

    I am giving the Game a 7.7/10 Graphics-6 Gameplay -10 Music-9 Online-6 Fun-7 EASE OF LEARNING-6 Controls-10 Cons: Let's be realistic, the only people that think the game looks good are hardcore fans.     Cons:

    Let's be realistic, the only people that think the game looks good are hardcore fans. Killer instinct 2013, Mortal Kombat X and even Street Fighter 5 look better. As you know those titles are 6+ years old. Yes Kof 14 to 15 is and upgrade but it's not a major one. The KOF story is bland and the characters themselves don't look all the great except some of the female characters. The online currently sucks but I have a PS5, I hear others having the same issue. I'm hoping for an update fix

    Pros:

    Gameplay wise it's amazing! The mechanics are crisp and smooth. The attacks and hits feel great, and the flow of the matches are responsive and quick. The roster size is awesome and it's good to see developers launching that many characters at launch. The Music is great and has a fun soundtrack. Roll back net code is a plus obviously.

    Overall, I will admit i was hoping to have my expectations shattered. The game does not look appealing. I still bought it regardless because I support all developers but it's time for SNK to start a new game I feel.    … Expand

    Unfortunately, we are a bit disappointed with the latest spin-off. We see "The King of Fighters XV" more as an improved version of the good predecessor. All modes are fun, but we would have expected more in some areas. The number of characters has also been reduced compared to the predecessor and the training for newcomers would have been better.     The King of Fighters XV is far from the perfection, but it has more highs than lows. The roster is huge, the mechanics are better and gameplay is pretty fun. But the visuals are not on the same level as the main games of the generation and the Story Mode is really bad. So, if you just want to fight with your friends and have a good time, go for it. But if you want a deeper experience, this ain't it.

    The King of Fighters XV improves on what was presented in its predecessor, especially the graphics and the online netcode. However, the absence of some classic fighters is notable. And mechanically speaking, don't expect anything too different from KOF XIV.

    The King of Fighters XV may not be the best fighting game of the current generation of consoles, and it may not have the best graphics or visual style ever seen in the fighting game market, but it is certainly a fun game that will give fans enough reason to kill the nostalgia of the good arcade times. Its classic and new characters do the trick to bring lively and fierce disputes above all, especially with online modes that work and will make the battles pay for many hours.
