Simple, Tennis On-Court is quite faithful to its purpose, with the bonus of ensuring a high level of immersion through virtual reality technologies and the use of Sense controls. Nevertheless, a steep price still doesn't justify the purchase of a game with low online stability and matchmaking difficulties.

Tennis On-Court is lacking in terms of content and its technical prowess to truly justify its price tag. It's an unfortunate situation considering that the gameplay is up to the task.

Tennis On-Court is full of missed opportunities. This is the first game in the sport to hit the PSVR 2 and due to this, interest around the game was at a high. However, Fishing Cactus failed to capitalize on the excitement due to a number of issues. There is potential with the mechanics but the focus on creating a simulator makes the moment-to-moment gameplay feel inconsistent and the lack of modes means you’ll quickly tire of the experience.

Although Tennis On Court certainly has potential, in its current state of production it is nothing less than a major disappointment. Given the amount of bugs that the developers apparently failed to notice before the game's release, the community can only expect some major updates before even considering a purchase.

An impressively intuitive control scheme and accurate ball physics hint at an enjoyable tennis experience, but a lack of meaningful content and a busted online mode end up costing Tennis On-Court the game, set and match.

Tennis On-Court could have been a good game. The tennis is handled well here, it can really come close to simulation, the physics and hit detection are well done. But that's not enough if there's no interesting content to play.

A give and take where one element of the game is great fun, but another is broken or unpolished. What you're left with is a game with a super fun core that's unfortunately too broken to put any meaningful amount of time into.
