Jun 19, 2023Song in the Smoke is an excellent example of how games can effectively evoke strong emotions with just a few words. Cinematic effects and similar elements are not necessary. All that is required is a good idea and a compelling narrative, which is precisely what this game delivers. However, the gameplay itself is the game's downfall. While not inherently terrible, it may not be as enjoyable over time. Despite this, it will undoubtedly find its fans.
