    This could have been a fun interesting survival horror. But ridiculous difficulty spikes mixed with clunky controls and unfair hit boxes makes the game a frustrating mess...How do games this incompetent keep getting released. Why not just make it an easier balanced experience.

    Looks very cheap, gameplay is outdated..disappointing(((((((( (and they still ask for more than $50 for it on ps5 seriously it costs a maximum of $20

    Interesting, tactile gameplay mechanics; Thoughtful combat that requires strategy; Solid environmental design and art direction.
    Bad- Lifeless human character models; Poor lip-syncing; Lots of janky animations. Thoughts- There is a lot to like in Scars Above. If you can get past the issues with the character models and animations, there is a really fun, unique sci-fi shooter    Good-

    Seemed like an interesting story in the beginning. The boss fights break the story immersion for me. Even on story (rookie) mode, I'm just not going to spend my time fighting the boss (Alpha) over and over to get to continue with the story..

    Love this game. Yes, it is a AA-Game. Graphics are well-designed but miss sharpness, textures are low-res. However, the sound design is really great, ambient-space-classic-style. Very well-designed. Gameplay is positively challenging, while never being frustrating (compared to Returnal, which never left me a chance to play through entirely, with the limited free-time I have available).Love this game.     The stiff movement ruins it for me, I thought I'd like this game since I liked Returnal, but THIS was AWFUL. Definitely would recommend to someone you hate

    If you expect a solid AA experience with strong audio design, great performance, a mysterious and well-crafted world and are okay with a not super polished combat system, you are going to have a great time! Congrats to the team on releasing this intriguing game!

    The first 2 hours felt slow but it picked up nicely. I enjoyed the combat and story drew me in midway. Regardless of what reviewers say... I kept coming back to this game day after day even when there is so much in my backlog. Also... nice use of duelsense from AA dev. wish more used it.

    I loved my experience on Scars Above. Exploring this mysterious universe, rich with a rather incredible atmosphere and a catchy scenario that really holds up, was a constant pleasure.
    I was expecting a sort of Souls/Returnal mix, in the end it has nothing in common with the latter, we are    What a pleasure when this kind of indie game comes out of nowhere and gives so much satisfaction!
    I loved my experience on Scars Above. Exploring this mysterious universe, rich with a rather incredible atmosphere and a catchy scenario that really holds up, was a constant pleasure.
    I was expecting a sort of Souls/Returnal mix, in the end it has nothing in common with the latter, we are really on a TPS implemented with certain Souls mechanics (the pillars which serve as a save/supply point and will repopulate enemies). Real good ideas such as the fact that XP is found in the form of collectibles in the world and not by killing enemies, which encourages exploration and trying to find all the little more or less hidden paths.

    The combat part is just as pleasant with the fact of being able to combine the different elements, catchy bosses with a good design, certainly a little rigidity in the animations but which absolutely did not bother me.

    Count a little less than 10 hours to overcome it in normal mode (described as difficult by the studio, it already has its good little dose of challenge, you have to be careful, you can die quite quickly).    … Expand

    Thus, "Scars Above" actually seems like an assembled movie from the well-known genre in terms of story. The learning curve is also really steep and demands a lot from you at the beginning. The developers of the game also implement the core idea of survival on an alien planet enormously well, and you will unfortunately have to survive a few annoying moments.     Not too bad of a game. Facial animations little janky and enemies can be repetitive, but overall not too bad. Easy plat if that's your thing. Interesting use of weapons based off elements instead of bullets. Beginning fights can be tough, but later upgrades make the game a breeze. Needs a flashlight option though as it can be too dark.

Grafikler mükemmel değil fakat iyi. Animasyonlarda aynı şekilde atmosfer beni içine çekiyor. Kısacası bence oynaması keyifli bir oyun. This game is not AAA, I think it should be made according to it when evaluating. Although the gameplay in the First Stage may seem a bit of a log to you, it is tripled with crafting weapons and unlocking new features. The graphics are not perfect but good. In animations, the atmosphere draws me in. In short, I think it's a fun game to play. I can say that the most important minus is the imbalance between the scoring system and leveling up.… Expand

    I’m pleasantly surprised by this game. What looks like a Returnal clone has turned out to be much more. The combat is simple but very fun, the use of the elemental combos makes approaching each combat situation varied and tactical. The overall story has been told before but that doesn’t take anything away from it, it was enough to keep me engaged till the end. I did come across the oddI’m pleasantly surprised by this game.     Scars Above is a solid linear 10-12 hour game and never over stays it’s welcome. It introduces new combat techniques and enemy variety as the game progresses always making it feel fresh. If you’re a fan of third person sci fi shooters then I fully recommend it.    … Expand

    Don't believe the high score.
    I think the high scores are either Devs or someone hired by a publisher.
    The cheap motion and combat were just boring.
    There was no presence of team members and it was just empty.
    Don't think of this as a TPS, think of it as a puzzle game.
    This game is only worth $19 IMO.
    Even if you buy it on sale, you're just wasting your time and money

    An absolutely terrible game. One of the worst souls rip offs I've ever played. Terrible combat, bs bosses and enemies, with absurd health pools, horrible gimmicks and bs hot boxes. The dodge is pathetic, enemies are cheap and will hit you, even when you clearly weren't even near them. The hypothermia bs is irritating, and annoying, especially when you have bs enemies attacking, with thereAn absolutely terrible game. One of the worst souls rip offs I've ever played.     Gráficamente no está a la altura de ps5
    La historia es intrigante si te gusta el estilo aliens
    Doblado al castellano lo cual se agradece
    Duración aceptable pero no es rejugable

    Scars Above is a good, fairly classic action-adventure game with fun gameplay and an interesting story. It takes design ideas from Returnal and, with that, offers its own unique approach. a short game that marks a good debut for this indie studio.
