I'm really enjoying this game. This is as close to SSX (one of my favorite games of all time) as anything I've played in years. The exploration is great, I love flying around in the jet pack wing suit finding new areas, events and collectibles.

I was absolutely SHOCKED by how fun this game actually is. I didn't really like the Crew when it came out and I did like steep a little but this is just a mashup of some of the best open-world racing you can get. I foresee a strong community emerging with this one.

the game is Good but the controls are so horrible, the game mechanics are terrible to deal with. If the they can improve these then I would give it at least an 7.5.

In theory, the game looks like it could be fun, but I just hate the mechanics.
To me, this game has the same problem that The Crew games have. It tries to be a plane driving, car driving, boat driving and motorcycle driving game, and then none of the controls and mechanics for these vehicles feel polished enough. They just feel odd in relation to other games that use the same vehicles,

With Riders Republic, it feels the same to me.

Probably decent if i gave it a chance, but just not for me given the size of my backlog. Also, yet another ubisoft 'go to all the dots on the map' structure. For god's sake, when will they try a different style of game??? Expand

This game is the most fun I had in a long time. The sense of speed you have when you drive your bike down a hill with multiple people all around you is so awesome. The map is giant but never feels empty. So much to discover and do.

Only downside are the dialogues but just ignore those and you will have an amazing time.

Hope this game will get a large community and will get supported for many years with more events, outfits and perhaps even more sports (skateboard for instance). Best purchase I made this year. Highly recommended.

The introductory characters are cringe, annoying, and fit every cliche trope you can think of. After one of the intro characters referred to another NPC as a 'Tripple OG' I almost quit right there. During an intro tutorial you are told to 'just puke if you have to' to make it to the finish line. Like Seriously! Talk about promoting unhealthy habits and self harm.

If you can push through the tutorial the controls will be your main obstacle as you take to the courses. Riding the bike feels like you're sliding on ice. Gameplay leaves little room for error. One minor mistake and you're sent flying off a cliff or face first into a mountain. Overall, a lackluster turd of a game.

The map is huge and perfect and all its places are great, since each one has its fun for each sport.
The customization of clothing and all the different types of sports is the best that the game has as well as the graphics.
The graphics are some of the best on the ps5 right now and it has a decent change from current-gen to next-gen.
Riders Republic exceeded my expectations and I believe it will also exceed yours.

Well, that lasted for about an hour or so. After that it became one of the most frustrating games I've played in a long time. If you enjoy cheap mechanics that constantly screw you, you are going to love this game! You are going to get bumped so many times in races. A lot of those bumps from the ghost opponents are going to cause you to crash or mess up and have to start from the beginning. By the 20th or 25th time of having to start a race over because you make one tiny mistake or get bumped by the ghost opponents, you are going to want to pull your hair out.

If you aren't frustrated yet, just wait until you've restarted the game for the 15th time because it randomly crashed.

Not frustrated yet from the game crashing or screwing you over in races? Well, just keep playing and I'm sure after you've heard the same song 25 times in a row (it restarts the same song over when you restart a race), you will rather bang your head against a wall than keep putting up with the crap Riders Republic sends your way.

On top of all that, I bought the Ultimate Edition and it still won't give me any of the cosmetics that come with that edition. So Ubisoft again releases another half-baked game and screws their customers. Don't let them screw you too!

I definitely won't be playing this game again until they address all these issues. You probably won't have much fun playing Riders Republic either until they actually finish the game and fix all these issues.

And you can switch between these rides in real time. You can even experience it in first person. For a huge open world game that is rich in content, the graphics are neat.

The customization options in this game are amazing. You can keep the look of your character grounded by wearing simple shirts and pants, or you can make your character look absolutely ridiculous with a unicorn mask and green skin tone. There are so many events to do in the open world. This game is exactly what an open world game should be about; freedom and tons of content. Lots of replay value in this game. The physics are complete garbage though. The cutscenes in this game were cringeworthy, but I appreciate that the cutscenes isn't the typical arty farty "I'm so miserable" trash that developers are obsessed with.

There is an offline solo mode called Zen mode in this game. All you can do is ride around the open world and do tricks. There are no events or races to be found in this mode. Very disappointing. So once the developers decide to switch off the servers, you will be left alone riding in the map with no activities. You can't even customize your character in the mode. Nonetheless, I do appreciate that there is at least an offline mode. I recommend you wait for the price to drop to $40 before picking this game up.

A strong 6 out of 10. Great graphics and the open world is beautiful. I wish you could choose a button to jump the bike. You flick the joystick to jump and you also flick it to backflip. Half the time you backflip when you dont want to. Hard to play for longer than half an hour. At the end of the day your just going down hills and jumping. Handling of the bike is a bit herky jerky.

Great game, so much fun! It is true that controls could have been better, but racer control cheme works for me in both races and trick events. When I first played this game it felt disapointment after steep, but that was mainly because game starts from the road bike races which are quite boring. After the bike&ski tricks, deep snow and ski races opened this game is pure fun!

In terms of gameplay, Riders Republic is an arcade-style racing game. Not necessarily realistic, but very fun, fast and over the top. It's perfect for fans of Tony Hawk, SSX and even (for those slightly older readers) Cool boarders. It's not overly technical, but it's not dulled either. It's also clever how Ubisoft has managed to make every discipline on point. Whether you're doing tricks on a snowboard or flying through a ravine in a wingsuit, all the disciplines are incredibly fun.

Yes, the title from Ubisoft is full of qualities, full of energy, full of color and it offers beautiful sensations to seasoned players and others thanks to many options of accessibility. The sense of travel (and speed) and freedom are at the RDV! Too bad that some problems of management of physics and a scenario a little pretext a little spoils the superb panoramas.
