    The game is very beautiful. But the physics are not good and way too hard. The progression curve is too steep. The only way to enjoy the game is to go hardcore on it.
    Compared to tracks and bike I know IRL, the behaviour, especially braking and the way the bikes bounces right and left is wrong.

    It's odd to give this game a low score, as there aren't really any glitches, the gameplay is smooth, the racing maps are great, but why is the game so difficult? It's like this game was meant for professionals, as even the dang time triials/license scenarios are difficult to even pass. and get bronze.     I've played a lot of racing games before, including motorcycle games. I get this is supposed to be more realistic, but wow I'm glad I bought this one on a deep sale as this game is just really difficult. Don't recommend buying this one unless on a deep sale and you're willing to put a lot of time into this game.    … Expand

    I’m a casual racing player, played GT before and thought I’d try out RIDE4. Played 5 tracks and I’m now on a mission to pass 4 other bikes in a lap. I’ve been at it for 4 hours and still can’t do it. This game and controls are waaaaaaay too hard for me, it’s bonkers hard. Can’t keep playing cuz I have to finish this map before I continue… won’t keep playing and going back to GT7. I’d getI’m a casual racing player, played GT before and thought I’d try out RIDE4.     The game looks nice but the game play is way too frustrating. The controls are hard and the AI is way to difficult even on easy.

    In Ride 4, you’ll get an uncommonly beautiful racing game with a brilliant driving model and superb utilization of the DualSense controller. But be warned - the difficulty is punishing and the AI is intent on crashing your bike.

    This racing simulator isn't for the faint at heart. Without any real introduction or soft landing, you're expected to drive like a pro and be able to drive near-perfect laps. Without that, you're locked out of the main course, the career mode, and have to resort to riding single tracks. AI is hit-or-miss and races very aggressively. Definitely not a game for beginners or those looking for an arcade racer.

    Most of the issues have been addressed, making for a much more palatable bike sim. It’s still lacking spectacle and charm, but the quality’s much higher. [Issue#185, p.88]
