    Let's be honest, Capcom did the excellent work overall.
    Creepy atmosphere is totally leaking out from the screen and this is what people love.
    Beautiful visuals, amazing depressing sounds and freaky story forces me to keep playing.
    Strongly recommend to everyone!

    Brilliant game. Not so scary. Game runs perfectly on PS5. Its not hard either. Should have choosen hardcore difficulty.

    Solid game. Doesn't do anything great but at the same time doesn't do anything badly. Graphics are nice but lack in colour variation. Level design is decent but I disliked the fact you couldn't backtrack to some areas. Combat was fine but not massively fun due to the fact there wasn't enough enemy variety and I wasn't a big fan of the blocking system. The bosses were definitely theSolid game.     While this may not be a traditional Resident Evil game, it is still truly a fun experience. It is as cheesy and over the top as many RE games have been, so it still has that magic, but the enemy types are a far cry from past RE enemies. What I love is how well it balances that oppressive feeling of being outmatched with that sudden reversal, where you pick up your next weapon and realizeWhile this may not be a traditional Resident Evil game, it is still truly a fun experience. Those seeking a consistent tension may be disappointed, but I am just looking to enjoy a game and have a few scares along the way.     Lady D was overrated. This game was pretty disappointing though, it was good, just my expectations were shattered. The best part of the game was that "house", wont go into much detail. If you know you know.

    Man, this game was SO GOOD! I really enjoyed my time with it. This game probably has the most gorgeous, stunning graphics and art direction that I have ever seen. My god it is so majestically beautiful! Exploring in this game is such a treat (but it can be scary xD). The gameplay and story were engaging and thrilling. There was also a lot of variety in the game. It's one of the bestMan, this game was SO GOOD! I really enjoyed my time with it.     Good game, boss fights, new places and so on. What liked the most are the environment and the weapons. Then player can use many weapons and upgrade them. What I disliked is the graphics. It is not that much for ps5. I recommend you to play it.

    I really like it and i think it's very well done Resident Evil game. It has Resident Evil 7 camera and Resident Evil 4 elements like inventory/merchant. It even has some RE2 Remake elements, that i'm not gonna spoil. Way more normal enemies than in RE7 (that's a +), more bosses (also a +), bosses actually look interesting, some of them reminded me The Evil Within bosses (that's a +).I really like it and i think it's very well done Resident Evil game. It has Resident Evil 7 camera and Resident Evil 4 elements like inventory/merchant. It even has some RE2 Remake elements, that i'm not gonna spoil.     Beautiful graphics, interesting boss designs, lots of places to explore, gun upgrades, almost perfect RE game. Very obvious inspiration from RE4 and i like it.

    The Good:

    * Great graphics in general. There is some LOD issues in the village where occasionally some geometry like buildings switches from low poly to high poly when you're looking right towards it. * Great performance even with maxed out settings in 4k. * Great level design with lots of exploration and optional areas. * Good story (much better than RE7). * Great gameplay.    The Good:

    * Great performance even with maxed out settings in 4k.

    * Great level design with lots of exploration and optional areas.

    * Good story (much better than RE7).

    * Great gameplay.

    * Didn't notice a single bug other than the LOD issue.

    The Bad:

    * The game economy mainly revolves around upgrading weapons. Some upgrades are down right useless, like 0.1s increased reload speed. If you do most optional stuff you will have an overload of money, which in the end you can only spend on useless upgrades with minimal to no value.

    * Some areas (Windmill and Stronghold) are short and felt rushed which was a bit disappointing. If these two areas had been more fleshed out, the game could have been a bit longer which would have been good since it's only about 11 hours long.

    * Towards the end (Stronghold and onwards), the action is taken way too far. It basically becomes an action shooter instead of a horror game as you expect an enemy behind every corner.

    Verdict:

    The game is basically a mix of RE7 and RE4 (a mix of horror and action shooter) but better than both. Sometimes the action is taken a bit too far for my taste. The game is around 11 hours if you do the optional stuff, so slightly longer than RE7, so it's quite short but I prefer quality over quality. If you like RE7 and the FPS direction you will definitely like this one, just be aware that this game is more action shooter focused.

    congratulation. this game is the child of those two games and perfectly suits you . RE8 just perfectly balanced between horror and action .when you killed dozens of Lycians ,then be ready cause the big tall vampire lady is chasing you and there is nothing you can do except running away from her. every 10 minute it has surprise under its sleeve . the    9.75/10

    Games don't need to be long to give you a thorough appreciation for the developers, the scenery, the atmosphere, the story and gameplay. Resident Evil 8 feels very polished, the puzzles are intuitive and not annoying, there's a great factor of exploration and getting valuables, which is very rewarding when you manage to find that hidden treasure.     Similarly to Resident Evil 4 back in the day, Village will attract a new generation of players and redefine the franchise for the modern age. I guess it’s time to stop looking back and counting on the series to return to its roots. Capcom is well aware of those roots and willingly draws from them to create something new but still infused with Resident Evil’s spirit. Village is not perfect, but neither was RE4, and once again it’s easy to turn a blind eye to the flaws, because overall it’s an amazing game. [07/2021, p.56]

    Resident Evil Village feels like such a culmination. Bringing together elements from the franchise all the way up to now and crafting what looks to be the next step of survival horror, it embraces every aspect of the franchise. While the insidious dread of Resident Evil VII is missing, there are still plenty of scares. The monster designs are fantastic, from the generations undead, the fury of the Lupine beasts, to the towering monstrosities. It's well worth delving into the concept art and 3D models to enjoy them fully. The story is just the right amount of silly with the terrifying, and the odd dash of the surreal. The combat is smooth and fluid, best evidenced in the addictive Mercenaries mode. All of these elements added together make quite possibly the best Resident Evil to date, and a foundation for a fresh new generation of terror.

    RE: Village is a mixture of almost all previous Resident Evil elements, making the most of both survival horror and puzzle intensity, but with the primary stage being left for the more action-like nature of Resident Evil 4. It has some great story moments, sprinkled with a few lacklustre characters that are still overshadowed by its most notable characteristic – most detailed environment to date.
