    The game is the same amazing game that came out in January 25, 2019, but with better graphics. This is an amazing game to replay it's a free update and if you haven't played it yet I highly recommend you give it a try. It's the best Survival Horror Video Game that's come out the past decade.     One of the best games I've ever played. Finished the Claire run, and I'm working on my Leon 2nd run and I can say because of the differences between the two campaigns (weapons, starting points, perspectives) I say you are cheating yourself if you don't play it at least twice.

    One of the best Resident Evil game ever put out, and one of the best horror games ever made. They did so well with the visuals and gameplay that I've replayed the game multiple times now. Mr. X is absolutely horrifying the first playthrough and still enjoyable to run from after you've beaten the game once.     The RT mode really kills the game's framerates; it does look visually better, but runs very poorly. With RT mode off, you get a solid 60fps (just like the PS4 version running on PS5) and the option of 120fps target which I couldn't test myself. The dualsense features have a barebones implementation just like RE8, meaning you get trigger resistance while shooting (and while aiming with aThe RT mode really kills the game's framerates; it does look visually better, but runs very poorly.     The advertised 3D audio feature seems to be here to some extent, but again it's not that noticable and I couldn't compare it to the PS4 release.

    An absolute masterpiece of a game. Even if you've never played a Resident Evil game before this is a good place to start. Gameplay is fluid, the game looks beautiful and the atmosphere is constantly unnerving. Absolutely fantastic game from start to finish and you're doing yourself an injustice by not giving it a try.

    I was in constant threat of pissing my pants, **** my balls and laying pile over piles of bricks, thats how it is scary. 10/10 , and, SPECIAL thank you to Shinji Mikami, the creator of original RE 1 and 2 for PS1

    Awesome update the only thing bad about is if you turn on RT Mode it kills the framerates a little bit but overall is great.

    B Scenario and many other stuff were cut, the overall story is illogical and Inconsistent, repetitive boss fights, compared to the original game this is 50% Remake

    This game is fantastic work from a remake perspective, but as a modern release (which it kinda is now) I would recommend RE7 and RE8 over it. While the overall quality is very high some game mechanics are outdated or just plainly weird. Still had lots of fun.

    Also Capcom please fix the unstable 40-60fps frame rate in raytracing mode.     One of the best games of all time. Great package overall, beautiful graphics, great optimisation, so much content for a very low price. This is what survival horror is all about!

    My First Resident Evil Game.
    It is a wonderful game , scary & horror.
    The police station part of this game is a masterpiece in horror genre & level design / graphics / characters models voice acting are well done.

    I would recommend this game, but in my opinion, it is not top tier. I had a great time playing, but I would say the game's story is somewhat forgettable, therefore, I would not rate it higher, because a higher rating would require a story that I was lost in.

    Resident Evil 2 Remake is a perfect remake of the original game. Everything is here from the original game but made as a modern day game with amazing over the shoulder view, today's great graphics. The story and characters all stay true to the OG and the characters looks great. I keep replaying RE2 Remake and really enjoyed it, Even through i loved the OG it is a bit outdated today whichResident Evil 2 Remake is a perfect remake of the original game. Everything is here from the original game but made as a modern day game with amazing over the shoulder view, today's great graphics. The story and characters all stay true to the OG and the characters looks great. I keep replaying RE2 Remake and really enjoyed it, Even through i loved the OG it is a bit outdated today which the remake has now taken over and i prefer the Remake. 10/10 Remake and game.     Still the best survival horror, on PS5 ray-tracing and 3D audio add a lot to the atmosphere (though high performance mode is a little iffy). [Issue#17, p.75]

    Capcom hasn't gone to any great lengths with its updated PS5 version of Resident Evil 2, offering fans and newcomers two imperfect graphical modes to choose from. Very speedy load times will have you immersed in a flash, though, and the support for the PS5's adaptive triggers adds another extra wrinkle on top. Resident Evil 2 is still every bit as good as it was three years ago; this PS5 version simply gives you the chance to experience it all over again with further shine.
