    This was my 1st Ratchet & Clank game and I loved it. 45 hours to beat it but I took my time to find everything and I enjoyed the amazing graphics and just absorbed the beautiful worlds insomniac created. Im trying to platinum it now.     Outstanding adventure with crazy weapons and levels. More dynamic, faster, better, even more fun sequel to original Rachet & Clank. Great game!

    I love the R&C games, and this one is not a exception.
    It's a hella fun jump n run / 3rd person shooter with gorgeous Pixar Film-like visuals.

    The most buitiful game i ever played. It looks like pixar cartoon. The leight of the game is about 12-15 hours and i think its optimal for that genre. The price could be a little lower i think, but its a top game.

    I love this game. the best Ratchet & Clank game ever imo. Beautiful graphics, great voice acting fantastic gameplay. I also really liked the new characters Rivet and Kit.

    This game really surprised me, that is the next generation I've been waiting for too long. Everything developers wanted to show is worth praising, after playing it, you realize what next games on PS 5 would be awaiting for us. The only one disadvantage is the size of a campaign. I definitely expected much longer story, but it didn't disappoint me at all.

    This game is solid 10 game for me. Graphics quality was outstanding added so much excitement and fun experience. Here and there bit of annoying missions but overall I really enjoyed the game. It looked like a child game in the beginning but later it was super fun.

    Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is truly a masterful next-gen spectacle. Where I had my doubts whether this game had to rely mainly on its graphics, it quickly became clear that Rift Apart is much, much more than that.

    Insomniac Games is setting a new standard for quality within its own genre. This game is finished down to the last detail and looks, feels and plays as a AAA experience.    Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is truly a masterful next-gen spectacle. Where I had my doubts whether this game had to rely mainly on its graphics, it quickly became clear that Rift Apart is much, much more than that.

    Insomniac Games is setting a new standard for quality within its own genre. This game is finished down to the last detail and looks, feels and plays as a AAA experience. Beautiful and well-designed worlds, each with their own look and feel, fluid combat that makes the weapons feel better than ever and well-written and designed characters that actually enrich the story. A future Ratchet and Clank without counterpart Rivet is already unimaginable.

    It's clear that the PS5's SSD comes into its own as you teleport through these worlds. Even though the game worlds are full of moving details and elements and you pull entire dimensions towards you, loading screens no longer occur and the gameplay is rock solid in 60fps with raytracing.

    The Dualsense has also been used extremely well by making almost every weapon feel and sound unique because of the adaptive triggers en build in speaker.

    It is rare but the only 'point of criticism' for me personally is the in-game flying mechanic. But if that's all, you can call this game pretty much perfect.

    Really nice opus and great work from Insomniac again. It does not get a higher score because my last opus was the PSP one, and well the mechanic didn't change. Nevertheless is remains a really nice game, on which they could have gone further (portal thing, less weapons but specific weaknesses on ennemies, a more specific gameplay for Rivet etc.).

    И так, игра очень похожа на игру 2016 года и я думаю если скрыть интерфейс то вряд ли с первого раза удастся их отличить.
    Геймплей не сильно изменился, даже оружие улучшается абсолютно так же.
    Имеем новую историю и новых персонажей. Хотя прохождение за Рэтчета и Кланка не отличается от прохождения за их альтр эго из параллельной вселенной, Ривет и Кит (KT-7461) от слова совсем. Даже вся прокачка и оружие у героев идентичная, качается один, прокачивается и другой.
    А в целом, как я писал выше, это те же щи, только ещё гуще. Героев стало больше, оружия то же. Картинка стала сочней, что не удивительно, паркур стал удобней.
    Ещё, мне больше понравился геймплей за Кланка/Кит, исчезли эти жопораздирающие забеги от монстров. Теперь это больше задачки на сообразительность.
    Так же в игре появился геймплей за некую виртуальную программку-паучка по имени Глючка.
    Ещё появились сеты различной брони, которые дают какие то небольшие бонусы одетому в неё персонажу, а так же меняющие его внешний вид. Мелочь, а приятно.
    Так вот, хоть игра не сильно прям отличается от предшественницы, в ней всего стало больше. И если вам понравилось играть в Ratchet & Clank в 2016 году, то понравится играть и в эту.
    Тем более, что игра лежит в PS Plus за подписку.

Amazing story aside, the utilization of hardware that was included not as a cheap trick but as a primary gameplay mechanic has never been done before. The immersion is amplified ten fold. Another thing I’ll mention that I know has been mentioned a thousand times is how STUNNING this game looks. It’s like playing a Pixar movieI must say, I have never played a game quite like this before.     A masterpiece that deserves to be appreciated. Every detail is well done. The evolution of characters and plot is deeper than the first game. The Graphic is superb, the sound too. This game on an OLED is amazing.

В этой игре нету минусов и это игра действительно заслуживает 10/10 от критика EnderWuse. Она действительно показывает возможности плойки 5,но я уверен это не все возможности. Играть в неё весело,ты не сильно там думаешь,там есть пару головоломок,приятная игра как для взрослого,так и для ребёнка,она поучительная,что не нужно боятся,что ты кому-то не понравишься или тебе кто-то не понравится нужно быть собой и знать,что твои друзья любят тебя.И приятно было находить отсылки на другие игры от студии Инсомниак геймс. Это студия выпускала и выпускает игры про Человека паука(ахуенные кстати) для PS4/PS5 эксклюзивы. Которые ебут все блокбастерские игры и в Рэтчете и кланке была отсылка на Человека паука. Ривер это Рэтчет из параллельной вселенной после того как дала пизда Браткам,говорит такую фразу Братки 0,Ривер...а я уже сбилась со счёта.ЭТА ФРАЗА БЫЛА В ЧЕЛОВЕКЕ ПАУКЕ.     An excellent game to introduce all ages to the ps5. The graphics are the best I’ve seen on the ps5 so far & the game play is good fun & enjoyable. The only minor issue is that it’s not very challenging but that can be taken as a positive too since suits younger & new players. This point still doesn’t take away from the enjoyment. Overall this is a must have for the ps5.

The story is pure Ratchet and Clank magic: the wacky moments, the laugh out loud humor and the spunky characters make this a R&C to remember. The steller collection of weapons are back here again as well. While there aren't as many as past entries, the ones that are in hereThe game delivers spectacle after spectacle after spectacle. There is no down time - everything is paced to a tee. The story is pure Ratchet and Clank magic: the wacky moments, the laugh out loud humor and the spunky characters make this a R&C to remember. The steller collection of weapons are back here again as well. While there aren't as many as past entries, the ones that are in here are highly memorable, and extremely fun to use. The most memorable one by far is the Ryno 8: the fact that it can create a portal and send items from other Sony IPs into the Rift Apart world is super creative and imaginative. Definitely an A in that regard.


    Rivet is another great addition to the series as well. She has an enthusiastic personality and a nice change of scenery from playing as the regulars all the time.

    Last but not least are the graphics. Oh my God are they fantastic. From the beautiful scenery and lush particle effects, to the ray traced character designs and gorgeous flora and fauna. R&C Rift Apart is a beautiful display for the next generation of gaming and an exciting start for what's to come. A great future is ahead!    … Expand

    If you are buying it for your kids or you really enjoy children cartoons, this game could be 8/10 for you. If you don't, then it's 6/10 at most. Let me now explain my views in detail.

    The Plot.
    10/10 or 5/10 depending on who you are.
    First let's address this. This game's plot - is basically a Disney cartoon for elementary school aged children. As a cartoon, it strikes all the right notes, so if you like children's movies - this is pretty much as good as they go.
    For me personally - it's just not interesting. I enjoy more adult storytelling, and this type of story is pretty boring for me. It's not cringe or anything, but it's just not very deep, and is not stimulating enough for me. I genuinely couldn't wait until the game was over.
    So this part strongly depends on your personal tastes. There's nothing wrong with liking cartoons even if you're an adult, but I think this point alone makes this game not immediately recommendable to absolutely everyone.

    The Gameplay
    it's 6/10. It's basically a 1-button gameplay, where your entire fighting is about pressing the shoot button and dodging. The enemies generally have 1 melee attack and some of them have 1 shooting attack. You basically press dodge if they get close, and keep shooting, and that's about it for the gameplay.
    The weapons are many, and they are very creative and different, very unique. That's until you realize that they pretty much don't change your gameplay AT ALL, they just kill enemies with different animations.
    The game has a lot of gimmicks that feel good enough for the platformer, so the platforming is on-point, but I can't say that this alone saves the entire game.
    The problems of the game design are many.
    Frequently, you are just left clueless about some things, until you progress far enough. You will find puzzles that you technically can solve right away but you just don't know how. And there are other puzzles that look like they are solvable, when in reality you actually just don't have the right tool yet. These elements waste your time if you are a completionist and want to clear everything as you go.
    Another problem is that the levels are riddled with invisible walls to block you from solving puzzles. Frequently your tools are enough to get to some hidden loot, but an invisible wall blocks you, because the developers want you to get there through a different route. And sometimes it's not at all obvious what is expected from you. Another such mechanic is just insta-death triggers if you get where you aren't supposed to be. This adds unnecessary frustration to the game, especially for attentive players who notice the hidden items in the distance and don't wait to the end game to collect them.
    The last point is difficulty. Because it's basically a 1-button game targeted at kids, the difficulty here is weird. The gameplay is very basic, and you just can't crank the AI to be more challenging. So what they do is they just give you very low health and make attacks hurt a lot, while turning enemies into bullet sponges. I did not find this fun at all, and switched back to medium.

    The Bugs.
    Unfortunately, the game is pretty buggy, although none of that causes crashes or breaks the progress. There are missing textures where you aren't supposed to see, missing geometry so you fall through the ground, etc. The character will often get stuck in the falling animation if you jump on the edge of the platform, and dies if you don't get out of that state fast enough. Some enemies get glitched inside of geometry. For me, the final achievement didn't count initially. Thankfully, I could start with the last checkpoint and just skip the cinematic to get it in a minute, but that's still a bug.
    Generally speaking, the game is very unpolished.

    So is it Next Gen though?
    No.
    One of the marketed features was how well the game uses PS5 SSD to instantly load levels. And that was demonstrated through the use of portals and how they switch dimensions.
    I will disappoint someone here, but frankly - you can do exactly the same seamless transition on PC or an old-style SSD on PS4. There's nothing groundbreaking about that - you just keep both locations loaded when you expect to need them. And those locations are not complex enough to cause any sort of memory concern if you do that.
    The absence of loading times is nice, but that's not next gen.
    Graphically, the game doesn't look anything special. Due to the style, you don't really need high fidelity textures and models. It looks very good, a playable Pixar cartoon, if you will, but don't expect any "WOW!" effect.

    overall, I recommend waiting for a sale to play this one, or even skip it. Unless you have kids or really enjoy these stories, in which case - sure, go for it now!    … Expand

    One of the first real reasons to buy PS5. This intergalactic adventure of famous series is full of great gameplay, inventive game design, gripping story, and great characters. It's a game for everyone who owns PS5. Actually, it’s a game for everyone.

    What’s so good about this installment of Ratchet and Clank is that it is a true labor of love. There is no other way a game can feel so good, play so well, and take you on an impressive adventure all without that special ingredient to keep it going. The definition of a next-gen title, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a must-play that will leave you super satisfied and hungry for another big game like this one.
