    R-Type Final 3 Evolved is bananas with both its absurd level of difficulty and its vast amount of content to enjoy. So, if you loved your time with R-Type Final 2 then you'll have a blast blowing up Bydo in this badass sequel as well.

    Although this ps5 release fails to include a great deal of additional content from R-Type Final 2, it shines so beautifully and plays so nicely that it's a perfect match for any shmup fan. A very solid game from a saga pretty much unexpected to be alive in 2023.

    R-Type Final 3 Evolved is an R-Type, as faithful in the canons as in the style of the franchise. The package also includes R-Type 2, an appreciated bonus, but everything about the shop and customization is done badly.

    R-Type Final 3 Evolved is the best version of Granzella's newest release, but it doesn't have enough improvements and new content in its current state to justify a full-priced purchase for existing owners. Newcomers should get this, but I wish it included more DLC and was the complete and definitive version rather than an enhanced take with some exclusive content and one set of DLC.

    Evolved brings a solid campaign and keeps all that was good about Final 2, but it’s still far from the best titles in the series.

    An upgraded version created for PS5 of the already excellent R-Type Final 2, one of the best side-scrolling shooters for the system that includes several innovations like new levels and modes.
