    Nightdive and ZeniMax have done it again.
    This is well worth the purchase just because of all the dlc being included, and it's a classic fps!

    Waited for so long for this to happen. Finally, I can play this game on console. Every extra features are awesome. The maps and models look better, the AI upgraded and some enemies got some extra moves. The new episode is challenging. Over all, I totaly love it!

    Quake II has aged very well especially thanks to new accessability tools as well as a compass that guides you to the next objective, however that new feature tends to bug out by leading you in circles, so it needs a patch. Other than that, this is the definitive way to play this classic shooter alongside 2021's remaster of Quake 1.     I'm unhappy with Bethesda's recent business decisions but you have to give them credit for bringing this classic back to modern consoles, I got both Quake and Quake 2 for a little over £10 on PSN.

    This is what remakes of old classics should always look like. Bethesda and the responsible developers have managed to bring out a really nice title from the 90s with many options and improvements for today's platforms. We find the game implemented and expanded and look forward to diving right back into the game set at that time and perhaps see ourselves in the respective multiplayer matches again.

    Quake II is a great remaster, with plenty of content and an impeccable job to bring a classic back. The multiplayer is fun, especially the entire campaign in co-op.

    Quake II returns with a new version that is the perfect tribute to the original version. Veteran and new players have at their disposal a good amount of hours of fun accompanied by multiple improvements and new missions that also have the essence of id Software's game.

    We find ourselves again with the legendary FPS from 1997 but completely renewed. Its new improvements and the addition of new content, accompanied by a more than outstanding multiplayer, mean that we are facing a piece of "remastered" with a more than ideal price.
