Mar 16, 2026Project Motor Racing shows clear ambition in trying to deliver a serious racing simulation, with detailed cars, demanding driving physics, and a focus on authentic track experiences. However, technical problems, inconsistent AI behavior, and a lack of polish often undermine that potential, making the experience feel less refined than it should be. As you spend more time on the track, it becomes clear that the game has solid ideas at its core, but struggles to fully realize them.

Jan 23, 2026Project Motor Racing is not a good game. The frustrating vehicle gameplay, the violent A.I that comes to make your life a living hell and the fact the game punishes you for its own mistakes, really bring this game down. It isn’t fun to play and the online mode is evident that a lot of people don’t care about this game. Despite having nice looking cars, tracks based off of iconic locations and a career mode that does offer lots of freedom, it doesn’t make up for the poor gameplay. This is one race simulator you need to steer clear of.

Dec 10, 2025Unfortunately, the only real positive to be said for Project Motor Racing is its strong selection of cars. Beyond that, it’s disappointing in nearly every respect, showing clear signs of having released far too early in its development cycle. The visuals are subpar, the AI is virtually nonexistent, and the handling is noticeably problematic. There are plenty of other issues as well, but to keep it brief, it simply can’t compete within the demanding genre of driving simulators.
