    One of my fondest memories from my early childhood is playing Pac Man World, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro with my uncle on his PS1. This remake turned out to be amazing, gave the same feeling as the original one did ~20 years ago. An absolute must buy. Hoping for a Pac Man World 2 and 3 re-pac version.

    Solid level design; Fun optional content; Looks neat.
    Bad- Some might find it too straightforward; Jumps can feel a little floaty at times. Thoughts- Clearly, this isn’t a genre giant. The original wasn’t when it first launched in 1999, and Pac-Man World Re-PAC, which is a very faithful recreation of that experience, definitely feels a little dated in its simplicity. For    Good-

    Clearly, this isn’t a genre giant. The original wasn’t when it first launched in 1999, and Pac-Man World Re-PAC, which is a very faithful recreation of that experience, definitely feels a little dated in its simplicity. For fans of the original game and for fans of the genre as a whole, there’s definitely plenty of enjoyment to be had here- but once you’ve played through the game (which shouldn’t take too long), it probably won’t stick out in your memory for too long.    … Expand

    Good grief this game is awful. The level design is tedious, the lag in controls is horrific and the lack of quality-of-life improvements is woeful. Go play Mario Odessy, Sonic Frontiers or Crash Bandicoot rather than this terrible thing.

    Carai jogo nostalgico da porra , joguei no ps1 , nunca tive a oportunidade de finalizar, agora no ps5 com tudo melhorado vou finalmente terminar da melhor maneira esse game, comprei sem pensar gosto muito de jogo plataforma.

    This is amazing remake of the original PS1 game. I love the controls and looks. The levels doesn't take too long to complete and they are fun and short I enjoy them and they look good the gameplay is very satisfying.

    It's not a Game of the Year contender, but this platformer is just so fun to play. It's beautiful, catchy, and addictive. A pure joyful nostalgia trip. Worth all the time it asks, and gives hope for the future of the series.

    + easy to pick up and play
    + simple controls
    + nostalgic sound effects
    + fun to search for collectibles

    Cons:
    - repetitive music
    - could have more powerups
    - uninspiring level design

    Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time. The platforming is very well constructed and precise. Reminds me a lot of Super Mario 3D World, which is impressive since the original PMW game came out 14 years before SM3DW. The Re-PAC remaster improves on the original in every way. The PS5 version even uses the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers for throwing dots. A lot of linear 3DGenuinely one of my favorite games of all time. The platforming is very well constructed and precise. Reminds me a lot of Super Mario 3D World, which is impressive since the original PMW game came out 14 years before SM3DW. The Re-PAC remaster improves on the original in every way. The PS5 version even uses the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers for throwing dots. A lot of linear 3D platformers follow the pattern of grass -> desert -> ice -> water -> caves -> sky -> lava. This game’s worlds mix up the theming a lot, being pirate ship -> ruins -> space -> funhouse -> factory -> mansion. Six unusual themes in an unusual order. Very creative! I’m especially a fan of the funhouse world. At launch, the game had two issues: much of the soundtrack was heavily compressed and the original PS1 game’s development team was not included in the end credits. Both of these issues have since been fixed with a patch, so I can now confidently say it’s a 10/10 game. I hope to see more PAC-Man World games in the future, remakes and entirely new.… Expand

    Questo gioco non merita voti come 6 o 8 è 10 è troppo bello colorato divertente e suntuoso. Hanno fatto un ottimo remastermake non ho avuto problemi a giocarlo. Consiglio a Chiunque di giocarlo per me la stampa è stata un po' bassa a dare i voti comunque è un ottimo acquisto.

    A fun remake of the original Pac Man World. I'd give it a 10 if I didn't have to get that Retro Gamer trophy. Which requires you to get through 9 rounds of original Pac-Man. I was raging trying to get that one. Took me two days. I hope we get the remaster to World 2.

    PAC-MAN World Re-PAC made me feel like a kid again. When I was young, I owned the game on the GBA. A few years later, I would go over to my grandparents house on the lake every year. In the room they gave me was a PlayStation with a copy of the Original PAC-MAN World. I played it so much that they gave me it as a gift. I owned PAC-MAN World Rally as well and would discover World 2 and 3 inPAC-MAN World Re-PAC made me feel like a kid again. When I was young, I owned the game on the GBA. I played it so much that they gave me it as a gift. I owned PAC-MAN World Rally as well and would discover World 2 and 3 in my middle school years.

    I was ecstatic when this game got revealed in the Partner Nintendo Direct, as PAC-MAN MUSEUM + just came out and I didn't expect a remake of one of my favorite retro platformers. When i got the game on both PS5 and Switch, the memories came back to me.

    The game also fixed many of the annoying bosses and glitched. Overall, if you like the series, or just like platformers, and have $30 lying around, this is a great choice. Now we wait for the eventual World 2 remake.    … Expand

    My childhood game is back! And in what style! I love it! Just like the original from the first PlayStation, it entertains with its gameplay, simple story, music and of course colorful graphics! Wonderful game for everyone!

    Pac-Man World: Re-Pac might be a bit basic at times, but it nails the mechanics and delivers on the production. It feels like exactly the kind of thing I would have enjoyed as a kid — which basically means I also enjoy it now as a platforming-crazed adult. I’m glad Namco is looking to its classic catalog in this way, and I’m hoping it means we get more from them in this style. Pac-Man fever? I have it.

    Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a pretty fun remaster. Its scenarios are very varied, and its gameplay keeps you entertained. Unfortunately, the fun ends very soon, and there are few replay values.

    A solid remaster with improved graphics and mostly great gameplay. The controls aren't always mapped handily, but the gameplay remains solid. The many references to the original Pac-Man are great, but the frequent need to backtrack is not. The levels are well designed while the bosses have a lot of variety. The game isn't very long, thich means it doesn't overstay it's welcome.
