    I feel like I already play this game before. Destiny, Gears of War, The Division. Another generic, uninspired and cash grab game that don't have anything meaningful to say. Waste of time.

    This could have been a decent game but it is lacking in content which sadly many looter shooters seemed to be really failing from Developers as of late & it quickly becomes a very repetitive game!
    The game is buggy the Demo seemed to play better and the P2P servers they are using are terrible like they spent small cash on the setup.

    I had high hopes, for Outriders but it has failed in so many ways.

    A cheap version of the division 2 and destiny 2, without the open exploration or character progression depth of modern games. The gun play in mass effect Andromeda is better and that is more of a action RPG than a loot and shoot. It had potential if they just made the levels open and allowed exploration. The way it is now is like playing a PS3 era game.

    Corre a 60fps en PS5, todo los demás está mal, la historia aburrida, la jugabilidad se traba a ratos, no sirve de nada subir de nivel si siempre los enemigos estarán 5 o 7 niveles más arriba de ti y para que mejorar las armas si en el trayecto de la misión encuentro mejores.

    Hard pass judging by the mediocre demo, but maybe I'll be proven wrong on it's full release. (I highly doubt it though). It would be hard to pick something like this over the upcoming Returnal which looks great.

    Hated everything about this game. Horrible story, characters, aim, enemy design. Sadly can't name one thing I liked about it. Stay clear.

    What a disappointment. Played it for free on GamePass and still don't think it was worth my time. Just get Division 2 or Destiny 2, much better games.

    I actually came on my ps5 and actually felt like it was playable here. But the main problems do stay. The boring tone. The un-original band of voice actors. And the stretched out feeling of "deja vu"

    A generic game, it is a mixture of things that worked in other games, but used in a sloppy way in Outriders. A cover system taken directly from Gears of War, but without the intuition adopted by its predecessor, its loot mechanics are similar to Destiny's, only unfinished! It is a great addition to the Game Pass, but it does not pay off the investment in other platforms!

    It's a very repetitive game as far as fights go. 3 types of human enemies all just reskinned for different factions and maybe 5 animal enemies. So in the first 15 minutes you will have fought every enemy type and it just becomes repetitive garbage fights after.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm a looter shooter fan. I enjoyed Destiny 2 a bit, Division was pretty ok, and I'm getting into Borderlands 2. That said, Outriders is not great. The graphics range from serviceable, to absolutely laughable, the grass looks like **** the character models aren't good, but the effects look great, especially the fire. I can excuse graphics if the gameplay is good. It's the worst part. The prologue is horrendous, it starts with you just walking! WALKING?! After a few cutscenes we're put into a tutorial, the first thing we're told is to take cover. Most people will tell you "Do not play it like a cover-shooter, it's for the enemies, the BRAINDEAD enemies". After killing a few idiots. We can run. yay. So after continuing the story, we're put into a tutorial that "emphasizes" the importance of rolling. They give us an enemy that does no damage at all... I should mention the game at this point is laughably easy, it does get harder later on, but that does not excuse the laziness of this tutorial, and the entire prologue at that point. So we kill the animal and move on. Then we reach the first combat encounter. Now, I need to mention this. It takes over a minute for the enemies to kill you standing out in the open... What the **** In the later world tiers cover is gonna be important because you'll be taking excessive damage, AND THE GAME ALLOWS YOU TO STAND OUT IN THE OPEN WITH YOUR DICK FLYING AROUND. My god, what were they thinking here? Now the A.I... No one at People Can Fly took a single lesson from Halo, or any other shooters with good A.I? Because the enemies don't behave in any interesting way. They just stand out in the open begging for you to end them, that's understandable. Let's jump from the prologue to the point where you're impaled with a spear and are allowed to pick a class. I chose devastator for anyone asking. The abilities are really cool, I've seen other classes with their own cool abilities. There's great stuff here, Gravity Slam is probably my favorite, as it serves for being a quick escape, and allows you to go to another section of the fight in an instant. My praise ends here unfortunately. The quests are same **** different area. Clear it out, turn it in. No interesting set pieces, or any fun combat encounters. Because when you progress world tiers, enemies deal more damage, and become bullet sponges. However, the A.I is still just as bad as in Tier 1. So not much has changed, has it? No. I won't touch on the story or the characters. I simply don't really care about it that much. Like it or hate it, good for you. Love this game? I'm happy for you. I can't stop you from enjoying something. But I personally do not like this game. Square Enix, please publish something that isn't a looter. First it was Avengers. Now this. Hey, Outriders is not nearly as bad as that game. So it's a step in the right direction nonetheless.… Expand

    Multiple issues with this game. First, the graphics for a PS5 game are pretty subpar, difficulty is a mixed bag and the World Tier system is a pain. I got pretty tired of having to lower the World Tier every time I encountered an enemy sniper (or 16) and just when you think you have a handle of the snipers, suddenly they can launch mortar attacks. It took me until about half way through the campaign before I realized that I did not particularly enjoy my time with the game.… Expand

    The story was **** All over the damn place. You have no idea who's who and why should you care for any of the characters with the exception of Jakub... I give this game a 4 out of 10. This game is better played by skipping the story.

    Initially especially after the demo I was excited and really looking forward to it...however tue launch was absolutely pathetic. The first 3 it came out I couldnt even play it because their servers absolutely fried themselves after enjoying it for a few days I didn't want to play it because I was scared a bug could erase my entire progress.

    After waiting for the game to be patched I was excited to try it out again. However bugs make the game unplayable. It takes me 8 tries to log in, 5 more attempts to find a lobby I can join which is then so laggy it is unplayable. Everytime I get disconnected the whole game crashes. It is absolutely unplayable. It is a very disappointing mess. Games should not be released like that. Whoever thought the game was ready for the market should reconsider their job.    … Expand

    Not too much to say, it's a copy of desstiny but not in a good way. Plays and looks like a 2015 game. Very outdated grind concept. This should be 90% off all the time or free to play.

    The player character is a doofus, with awful one-liners. He's "altered" and immortal, which means he's basically a guardian knockoff.

    The game is really excited to use the "F" word (shared this way, so I don't get flagged or something).

    Class abilities are poor and unfun, gunplay has no impact, and every enemy is a bullet sponge. I think people are desperate for something to do. Don't waste your money on this. It's even ugly to look at. Just drab disparate brown areas that are poorly lit.

    There are better games to play, don't waste your time with this.

    * After spending about 10 hours with this, I feel comfortable suggesting you don't waste your time with this. The plot is miserable; combat never feels good, I mean at all. Every battle consists of enemies lobbing grenades at your location, dropping grenades when they are defeated, and WAY too many enemies to deal with every time. It's not a "Challenge" to swam the player with 20-30 mobs at once and then in waves.

    I am honestly confused by the people enjoying this. I have to assume most people playing this are Destiny 2/The Division/Warframe players. How can you find any enjoyment with this game when it's inferior to every one of those I just mentioned in terms of gameplay.

Visually its bland and dated, gameplay is fun for a very short time, but it no different than what we have seen 100 times before but done better, with more compelling story and much more compelling and appealing character..     Repetative gameplay, frustrating mechanics, Lots of Bugs. Story is good but gameplay just feels wanting. Every quest essentially boils down to kill a boss or kill an elite badguy in order to progress. Every quest turning into a major boss fight against the same enemy gets both frustrating and boring

    Most generic game of 2021. Nothing new or original. Cheap p2p servers. Gunplay is as boring as the story unfortunately...If you are looking for looter-shooter, there are a ton of cheaper alternative

    Every so often you’ll play a game that hits you like a bus with just how bad it is in every single aspect, Outriders is DEFINITELY one of those games! YUCK

    I'm constantly getting thrown out of the game play and it topped yesterday with a full character corruption. I'm not concerned that I've lost all my items, but I'm more concerned that I've lost all my mods and character progression!

    This is one of the most generic games I have ever seen , the story , character designs , levels and weapons all look like they could be in any space game and its uninteresting. Awful glued to war cover shooter mechanics mixed with bullet sponge enemies and loot you don't care about. The looters shooter genre become pretty generic but pretty much all others do it better.

    Ce jeux a mes yeux ne mérite pas plus de 3 , car il est trop loin de ce qu'il ce fait en matière de graphisme ( énorme retard ) de gameplay , de narration etc. de nos jours . Quand tu passes apres les grosses licenses actuelles tu te dis que le cross gen parfois n'a pas que du bon ....

    Amazing game, was able to play it on April 1st and it’s a blast with friends til today April 2nd server get wonky cant play it solo or with friends. Found out they use trash server ( p2p) worse choice people can fly ever made

Es fühlt sich auf der ps5 an wie ein free-to-play shooter, die Steuerung furchtbar schwammig und das Zielen erst recht und das bei einem AAA Spiel ich kann es wirklich nicht fassen was für Müll nur noch geboten wird. Spiele seit der playstation 1 und muss als langjähriger gamer mit ansehen wie dieIch finde das Spiel ist, wie so viele neue Spiele unserer Zeit, eine absolute Frechheit. Auch die Texte sind nur für dümmliche pupertäre Jugendliche geschrieben, so schmerzhaft das ich nach ein paar cutscenes nur noch geskipped habe. Es ist auch eine Frechheit und absolut unverständlich wie spieletester auch nur ein gutes Haar an solchen Spielen lassen und es auch noch Gut reden. So wird sich nie was ändern!… Expand

    It is a great game, but don't try to play it, you won't be able to get a server connection.
    Have been trying to play the campaign, but so far I find that when I have the Time to play, the server are down. The game could be the most perfect thing in the world, but if you cannot access it, then it just isn't worth anything.

    We didn’t exactly see anything new in Outriders, to be honest. The game delivers a fair amount of content in terms of levels, weapons, or skills. However, from the gameplay point of view, it’s nothing more than meeting aliens, zombies and insurgents in paintball arenas for 15 straight hours, plus the expeditions.

    In two highly competitive genres, this crossbreed may go unnoticed, but its difficulty system should be taken into account. It’s advisable to embark on the campaign of this shooting RPG since Outriders offers tons of hours of fun, invites players to play with friends, and has appealing visuals. Fans of both RPGs and shooters can get a lot out of it, but they shouldn’t expect a revolutionary game, for it is a mixed bag of interesting features and cliches. Even though the journey is enjoyable, Outriders is neither a strong contender in the RPG elite nor in the shooting universe.

    Outriders is not a perfect game by any means. Its narrative, while containing some fun characters, feels somewhat underdeveloped. The conflict between the intended aggressive style of play and the omnipresent walls for cover lead to a strange kind of dissonance where the level design feels at odds with the most fun way of playing the game. The server issues are ongoing and can occasionally make the game inaccessible. The endgame is a lot of fun, but only if you’re playing in a group. When the experience is working well, it is a ton of fun shooting your way through hordes of enemies and marvelling at the latest rare gear. However, while the flaws do not ruin the experience, they are notable.
