A fantastic game worthy of being a proper sequel brimming with gorgeous visuals, immersive exploration, engaging combat, deep mechanics, and packed full of content which exceeds that of the average Indie Title. If you are looking for a Zelda-based adventure, look no further than Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm!

To be sure, as we’ve established, Oceanhorn 2 isn’t very original. But freed of being directly and easily compared to the original by finally arriving on different systems, it’s much easier to appreciate just how strong of an imitation it is.

Mind you this is done by a very small team and the limitations are noted. Is there some hidden charm? Yes! The game is colorful and amazing soundtrack. However the game itself tried so hard but the combat might be the weakest and characters are more likely to be forgotten. Storytelling isn't gonna wow you but at least it's trying to tell you something so it's passable. This isn't Zelda but the game does try to be it's own thing most of the time. The game isn't that long 12 hours or so just the main quest but with side missions and stuff to find you can put about 20+ hours. Personally at the price it's alittle too high in my opinion so I wait for sale on this due to the fact the combat and other problems like bug fixes. My score is an 8. Full Review »
