Nobody Wants To Die is everything I wanted it to be and more. It felt like a 1920’s detective thriller in the future and I loved every second of the mysterious twisting story that had me gripped until the very end. Stunning visuals that can compete with any AAA game on the market and a gorgeous soundtrack that helps heighten the tension and mood really seal this game as one of my favourite experiences this year. Its linear structure will not be for everyone and its short length left me wanting much more. But for a first attempt for Critical Hit games, this is a slam dunk. I just hope they return to this fantastic retro-futuristic world they have created.

A beautiful homage to modern sci-fi, Nobody Wants to Die is a narrative thriller that deserves a standing ovation. With a strong narrative, high level of immersion and absurd visuals, the title is made by those who understand cinema, games and dystopia very well.

Nobody Wants To Die was the game I didn't realize I needed to play this year until I played it. A fantastic narrative experience set in one of the most harrowing worlds. Though its gameplay is by the books, it didn't keep me from being thoroughly entertained from start to finish. For those looking for a cyberpunk murder mystery, you don't need to look further than Nobody Wants To Die.

Nobody Wants to Die is a visually impressive cyberpunk noir experience that will surely captivate you with its futuristic cityscapes and its great yet cliché story. It is a tad bit too linear, and it will not pose much challenge or diversity when it comes to gameplay, but it will surely give you that dose of neo-noir you have been searching for.

This game successfully captures the noir aesthetic of 24th-century New York with high-quality visuals, and its unique themes and narrative maintain a strong grip until the end. However, the core investigation parts of the gameplay are quite linear, leaving little room for player curiosity or creativity.

Nobody Wants to Die is a beautiful game where an interesting world and well-crafted script clash with gameplay that holds your hand too much and offers virtually no challenge. However, if the story and atmosphere are the main focus, this charmingly short piece might just strike the right chord.
