    Game does not show most important things, but it was great idea to show which random player leaves server.

    Flying NCPs, disappearing (not destroyed, disappearing) world elements. That's the worst and most expensive DLC EA ever published.

    NFS has reached the point of being the most cringy and completely out of touch with reality racing game. The more years and games come after NFS payback, the more NFS payback seems to be a masterpiece and not the utter failure we thought back then. But seriously, this game is horrible. Just play Forza or even Motorfest. Not this.     This game is a mess. I'm only writing this review to counter all the fake 5 star Google reviews that sound like a EA chat bot.
    This is finally the end of the road for me and this franchise. I know it's an arcade racer but there's fun arcade racing and then there's this cheesy pile of crap. It's like the dev's thought they had a good idea with the heat system and just went all in on that    This game is a mess. It's like the dev's thought they had a good idea with the heat system and just went all in on that and didn't bother putting any effort in the rest of the racing. The whole tuning/upgrading system is pointless as it makes zero difference against the cops or the other racers. This game had so much potential but misses the mark by a mile for me. The careers just a long boring repetitive slog.

    3. Perfect Ai opponents, they avoid traffic and obstacles to perfection.
    4. The tracks are terrible, repetitive, boring, and they are not fun to drive around.

    The WORST:
    a. You make one mistake during the race and you're done. You have to be perfect otherwise you have to restart, but WAIT, you have limited restarts! Haaaa.

    b. Races are categorized by car rank. But if you have one car, you can't visit the garage to adjust the parts so you can cover all the the different ranked races in one session. This means you lose out of races, especially early game.

    c. You made the wrong choices on your car parts to the point that you can't win races? Too bad. Again, you can't edit your car without giving up the races for the day or night time.

    FIRE THE FK-ING TEAM!! This is such a terrible game. They are clearly diversity hires and don't know a wank about making video games!!!    … Expand

    The heat system is completely unfair to lose all the money you earned because the game forces you to engage in a race with the police, which is almost impossible to escape from when the heat level is high, which is probably what the fans of the series deserve. One of the reasons is that after a while, if you don't manage to escape, a bunch of police cars will magically appear around you, including big trucks that are also impossible to get rid of. I hope that the game designer has a special cauldron in hell for such a "great solution". I also wanted to note that the developers have absolutely killed the drift system, or you need to collect only drift cars of each tier, but you won't have the money for it, because you either get little money but bring it to the garage for safekeeping, or lose it because of the chases with the police.

    This game is horrible to play, honestly. Difficulty level on Normal is wayyyy too hard, you always finish 6th or 7th if you're lucky enough ! Consequently you can't buy cool new cars and keep driving old things from the 80's.

    I though the game was about making free races, winning based on your skill and little by little expanding your collection of vehicles and customizing them. Unfortunately, this is not such a game. The AI speed is cheating outrageously to compensate its poor level. As the cops who catch you make you lose all your money, you have to do even more and more races repeatidly.

    I really regret paying this game such a price as the devs haven't found the recipe to keep a game cool and entertaining. The game is frustrating at best, especially the cheating AI. There is no challenge, just grinding over and over.    … Expand

    The stupidest game mechanics are the cops, there are more of them than normal citizens in the city, such nonsense, at the same time they are the dumbest cops I've seen in games, it's not hard to get away from them, but because they often notice you it's stupid.

It doesnt matter how you spec your car, the ai rubberbands, the police rubberbands, even if you can only race cars in your vehicle class they will go past you with unlimited speed. The controls...the car is either on rails going top speed left or right, or is like a magnet for incoming traffic orRubberbanding, there is NOT an ounce of RACING in this game, if you buy it you will regret it! Cops....you cant drive race to race because after every race the cops pursue you, and believe me they are the worst cops in any driving game...they are spawning where the game wants them to..if u dont believe me google all these things i ve told you.. If you want to waste your money..buy this game, if you dont there are lots of better driving games out there, i m just sorry forza isnt on playstation.     Malísimo, está muy mal hecho, la IA te adelanta sin sentido aunque tengan coches mucho peores que el tuyo. Cuando vas primero te spawnean coches de policía que se estrellan contra ti y te hacen perder la carrera. El peor juego de carreras que he jugado en toda mi vida. Repetitivo hasta la saciedad.     Just terrible in every way. I've played every NFS game in the last 20 years, but this will be my last. I would rather watch raindrops race to the bottom of my window-pane as I stare out into the abyss on a rainy night, seeing the flickering of a broken street lamp through the reflection of my own tired, disappointed eyes.

    Your car can drive through 60% of objects such as trees, fences, walls, road barriers, rocks. It can get very confusing due to the inconsistency of this and it get's hard to know what you can drive through and what not.
    The checkpoints are way to small and are only meant for you... If you miss it, you are respawned. If the AI misses it, nothing happens. Giving the AI an advantage, because he can push you out fo the trajectory, while you can't.
    Police are stupid. Way to easy to shake off. The helicopter doesn't serve any purpose.

    The whole UI is confusing. The map seems extremely small and is boring af.

    Props for adding pedestrians, but no one asked for it.

    This is the kind of BS where you ask yourself if the developpers did even test the game.

    DO NOT PAY THE FULL PRICE FOR THIS GAME. I got it discounted and still feel cheated.    … Expand

Die Npcs hätten auch einfach weniger sein können, wenn man wegen den cops die ganze zeit nach links unten gucken muss und nicht auf die straße achten kann fühlt sich das halt so an als würden die npcs einfach vor dir spawnen.
    ich will garnicht erst auf die langweilige und Zeitverschwendene Story eingehen aber das es wirklich immer nur das selbe ist ist halt scheiße das einzige interessante sind die autos die man sich zusammenstellen kann. Für die Story empfehl ich euch einfach alles so gut wie möglich zu skippen und dann nen moneyglitch bei der quali zu machen falls ihr die spielen wollt. Das einzige was ich noch loben kann sind die Collectables das das wenigstens nicht so schlecht wie in z.B. Spiderman oder Horizon ist.
    Zum Multiplayer kann ich fast garnichts sagen außer das es wenigstens etwas spaß macht wenn man mit freunden spielt.
    Falls EA noch mehr kack spiele rausbringt schmeiß ich hundescheiße an deren firma.    … Expand

The rest of my experience was so bad I rage quit and deleted the game mid race.     Big NOPE. This game is insanely bad. Even its ARCADE RACING, the handling is sooo unpredictable. Now, with the BURST nitro you cannot take the corners fast without the BURST in the bar. Why? Bcs without it ur car is waaay slower. Also the BURST nitro works so randomly. Sometimes the BURST nitro refills in 100% just for doing nothing, sometimes it doesnt want to refill by even 1% whileBig NOPE. This game is insanely bad. Second thing: handling physic is broken. If you touch the rival/traffic/wall the steering wheel locks for some sec, and your wheels are locked in the ‚neutral’ position, and you cannot make a big angle - so you cannot manipulate the steering wheel, cannot turn. Same thing happens after every ‚drift’. The roads are filled with random bumps, and the bumps also locks ur steergin wheel. The game should be fun, but the only fun thing is the car customization. Thats all. Fckn **** Worst NFS EVER! NFS RIVALS was filled with bugs, but at least it was mooore fun! The drift is also unpredictable bcs sometimes it gives the standard angle, but sometimes extremely wide and then your car makes a spin. Even at the 5th gear and only 5000rpm. Great job EA & Criterion. You guys did this game even worse than the rookie developers. Table Top Racing World Tour has better handling than this. Even Crash Team Racing..… Expand

    El juego es realmente malo, el doblaje en español castellano no parece enserio, suena con jergas de niños infantiles de cuando os troleabais en el colegio tu y tus amigos.

Aproveche una oferta de 40€ que había en la store porque el juego me llamaba la atención, esos 40€ los he perdido me siento realmente estafado, no entiendo cómo puede haber gente que le guste este juego realmente... Es que la conducción que es lo que yo creo más IMPORTANTE es horrible, mal diseñada y obligada al estilo derrape al 100% los enemigos siempre hay uno que te va a sacar km de distancia porque te meten ya a competir contra titanes como un lambo o cosas por el estilo, no hay equilibrio es realmente absurdo que te cobren hasta por la ropa del personaje una millonada y realmente absurdo el sistema de misiones y progresión. Luego también lo de la policía que ten suerte que como te persigan 3 coches a 3 flames al principio ni lo intentes que no les vas a burlar.
    Antes de comprarlo mire aquí las malas críticas y las buenas que tiene el juego y no hice caso a las malas y ha sido realmente un error. De verdad me siento totalmente ESTAFADO he dado mi dinero a una compañía de basura que no sabe hacer casi ningún juego bien joder. No volverá a pasar.

    This game is awful. I am a car guy in real life, snd I bought this solely for the cover car. The 190e 16v 2.5 evo, as my family has owned and raced these competitively for over two decades. And the game looks amazing. They did build an amazing world, and the new effects are great too! The rest is all bad, and I mean really bad. It’s so repetitive.     You wanna play some good Need for Speed that'll actually treat you fairly? Play Heat if you haven't already. Heat has no cops during the day. And ramps up your Heat for every race you do at night. That's a balanced experience.     The most annoying game of all NFS .In relax mode should be relaxed not to be irritated, after 6 hours of gameplay a lot of earn money are lost in vain.A lot of bugs when I go to a race with one car it started with another car and if I quit the race the money are lost. I had to keep grinding the same races to earn enough money to enter in to the next race. This got old really quick. I also wasnt impressed by the boosting, drifting, and overall handling; it was better in burnout paradise.     I would have liked the game, except for the excessive amount of cops, that just kills it for me. Driving through forests or fields without knowing where i am going, not enjoying the games, just to avoid the cops. Excessive still doesn't fully describe how overdone the amount of cops in the game is.

    Arcade racing game is supposed to be fun, not frustrating and so grindy. Add that with bad soundtrack and bad handling, this is definitely not how to make an arcade racing game, considering the price.

AI has catch-up boost and a lot of speed if it’s the one or two cars picked to challenge you at the beginning of the race.


    -Music sucks
    -Cartoony graphics can’t be turned off, I.e. wings sprout from the car everytime a jump is made. Annoying
    -Cops are everywhere, especially at night. Most of the game at night is spent running. -safe house is safe only if there isn’t any heat, would be nice if you could drive into you garage and drop heat.
    -can’t return to safe house unless you plan on advancing to night or day. -game will auto swap cars before a race but won’t put you back into original car. Heat 5 with class B cars anyone? -can’t switch cars once you leave the safe house Online mode on PS5 doesn’t work, when connecting to EA, an error message appears and white screen, no inputs from controller unless it’s a ps button.

    Only thing worst than this game is the fake reviews and other sites that promoted this piece of garbage. Don’t know who is worse scum the developers or the reviewers…zero negative reviews from the amateur critics at Metacritic…what a load of BS    … Expand

Just as in heat, you can be at 300kph/186mph+ turn and yank the e-brake and stop in 10 meters.
    I dont like the anime stuff either. This game is more arcade than ever, and I would only recommend this game to people below 14 years of age. I'm truly disappointed, and while this game deserves a 4, I'll give it a 1, just because the 7.3.it has in total now is waaaay to high.    … Expand

    Der Sound ist gut, aber… man wird IMMER zu beinahe JEDER SEKUNDE des Spiels mit irgendwelchem blöden Gesabbel genervt. Die (schon wieder) pseudocoole Kiddiegang ist die ganze Zeit nur am Labern… das geht mir so dermaßen auf den Sack!!

    Und dann ist es dieselbe blöde Story, wie immer. Wozu brauche ich in so einem Spiel eine Story??!! Und erstrecht keine so platte, dumme, nichtssagende, kopierte.

    Ich soll dann also zu einem Event.
    Während ich dahin fahre, werde ich permanent zugelabert und mit neuen Ereignissen belästigt, die ich dann vorziehen muß. Gehe ich dann in die Garage, um die Kohle abzuliefern, sind die Events nicht mehr verfügbar, weil ein nächster Tag angebrochen ist.
    Ich soll in 7 Gagen meine Karre pimpen, soll aber immer wieder in die Garage, um Geld abzuliefern, und dann ist der Tag futsch.

    Nachts sind die Bullen aktiver als tagsüber. Wieso?
    Die Cops im Rennen sind ein Witz.
    Die Steuerung ist schlecht.
    Die Musik ist eine Katastrophe.
    Keine Schnellreise zu den Rennen.
    Ewige Wege zu den Events.
    Die immer gleiche Katastrophe.

    Hier hat man es nicht mit einem ernst gemeinten Arcaderennspiel zu tun, sondern schon wieder mit einem Bling-Bling-HipHop-Epilepsie-Kinderspiel.

    I am guessing the devs have no idea about used and rebuilt auto parts, since you can't sell them once you have bought them. When you work at a garage.

    The soundtrack is beyond sub par compared to NFS Heat. I have had racers phase through oncoming traffick, while said oncoming traffick hits my car (story mode) and today I had teleporting racers both out of the race entirely and into the water (on drivers side of vehicle) at 5th place only to appear a minute later coming off a cliff and back into the race (from the passengers side) in 3rd place in an endurance run. Where they appeared from was entire off the course.

    It's pretty but the inability to sell parts when storyline insists on multiple cars and the lowballing on selling cars, how

With EA's half-hearted 2022 you might wonder how the company maintains a cashflow of any kind and that would be perfectly understandable because this is the worst NFS I've ever played.     Unbalanced opponent difficulty and despite the developers coming out and saying that the graffiti effects could be turned off, that is NOT the case. You can turn SOME of the effects off and only on your car. The opponents cars have all the effects still on. Got a refund on this one. Garbage.

    Tried the trial. Its just heat with few extra touches here and there. Definitely not worth the price tag. (Yes sale discount or some sort exist but still, its not worth the price)

    Definitely not worth it especially at that high price, its a heat copy with a few minimalistic changes, cops are meh, pursuits not enganging, best was MW 05, Rivals and Hot pursuit. Customization is wacky goofy and cringe story and dialogue with political direction IN A RACING GAME

    It does not have interior customization which i was hoping for. also i would like more of an updated wheel list and more new body kit parts. and more tuner/muscle cars there's majority super cars like the car list needs to be updated alot!

    This game is only nfs heat but slightly different, which of course lacks creativity. Yes they tried different graphics but i dont care about those.

    This game could be much better if they didn't add some mechanics that ruin the whole fun. Driving in the game is the best part, I really enjoying racing and upgrading my cars, getting new ones, the graphics look quite good and even the new cartoony style additions are nicer than I expected before buying.

    But unfortunately there are some mechanics in the game that are ruining the whole experience for me. Starting by the fact that you need to go to your garage to do practically anything other than drive, like changing your selected car, tuning it, or even change its color. Primarily that doesn't sound like a bad idea but the problem is that the new game has week system and every single time you enter the garage you change from day to night or from night to the next day, so you cannot visit your garage without forcing your way into the next big race, which happens always on saturday.

    What seems like a minor issue becomes a bigger one because the more you advance through the game the more expensive the participation fee becomes for the big race on saturday, so that means you need to collect more and more money every day so you can upgrade your car with more expensive items and also to participate on the next race.

    And here is where the worst part of this game mechanic comes. In the game there are so many police cars you can barely drive for more than 3 seconds without finding at least one police car in your radar, and there are often more than one, and if your wanted by the police, which usually is always turned on on the night time you cannot drive freely anywhere for more than 3 seconds because you need to hide or try to drive so fast that they don't see you. This is really very limitating because it's a game about racing and you cannot drive freely for more than half of the time.

    And if that wasn't enough, the more oney you carry on you the more aggressive the police cars get so they are more likely to take your money away, and that together with the weekly mechanics and the increasing amount of money needed every time ends up forcing you to replay the same races over and over again, specially if you happen to fail the race at saturday since you're forced to go back to the prior friday and you're forced to make the whole amount of money needed for that race, which usually you can collect during a whole week, in one single day, meaning you will need to carry a lot of money on you and get the police trying to steal your money again and if they succeed, well, guess what, you can repeat the friday all over again because there is barely any freedom in this game.

    I find it weird that people are complaining more about the story or the graphics when the real problem is that the game isn't fun to play due to this lack of freedom and big amount of repetitiveness, which in my opinion is a lot worse because that's actually the core of the game.

    It's sad because otherwise I really was enjoying it but I've had that situation described above already a couple of times and it's no fun to play the same missions all over again. I'm really near to giving up the game even when I already got into class S, which is number two in the highest rank, but I don't enjoy being forced to repeat the same thing over and over again.    … Expand

    Heat was better, Criterion f'd this one up. Sloppy gameplay, slow progression, wonky and goofy art style. Recycled cars. Terrible online.

    Forget everything else. Asap this, asap that, asap everywhere. Like, why? I listened to like 5 of the soundtracks and all of them are forgettable. Yes i can turn them off but remember, the soundtrack is one of the critical part of the game, and certainly it doesnt deliver whatsoever.

    Need for Speed was seriously starting to look dead and buried – and here comes the rescue party! The combination of beautiful, realistic-looking graphics and effects borrowed straight from an anime works surprisingly well, the story doesn’t get in your way and the driving model hits exactly the right spot. Even the open world is fun! This is how you make an arcade racing game.

    Need for Speed Unbound is the best modern NFS to date. It is still riddled with issues like rubberbanding and weird drifting physics, but it still provides its players with the best handling system in years, with grip racing finally back. With the best visual design NFS has ever had and some interesting campaign decisions, it gives hope that the series is back on track to becoming something great.
