Apr 3, 2023While it’s not the longest game, I feel VR games shouldn’t be too long due to eye strain and fatigue. I found myself not wanting to stop playing which says a lot for a VR title. Highly recommended especially on PlayStation VR2.

Apr 13, 2023Moss: Book II is a genuinely emotional, surprisingly creative, and incredibly gorgeous follow-up to its critically acclaimed predecessor. Book II takes the themes and gameplay ideas from the first title and nearly perfects them and in doing so has created a longer, more difficult, and more fulfilling adventure for Quill.

Jun 15, 2023Moss and Moss: Book II are exemplary virtual reality titles. The visual design, levels and characters are awesome, and this implementation increases the immersion through new control methods and greater player interactions. With PS VR2, the increased detail and fluidity is also excellent news for those who struggle with VR comfort. Without any doubt, this series is highly recommended to all who have a PS VR2 device.

Mar 30, 2023As stated before, not much has changed in Moss Book II, making it an iterative sequel that keeps all of its strengths along with a few more bells and whistles. About the only remaining weaknesses are the spare enemy variety and combat; though there are a few new bolstering additions for both, they still serve as hors d’oeuvres while the platforming and puzzles make up the main dish. Nevertheless, anyone who enjoyed the first game need not hesitate to continue the adventure, while newcomers may want to consider starting off with the first game as the sequel is more of a complimentary package rather than a replacement; in the olden days, we’d use to call this “Disc 2”. Regardless of order, anyone who opted early with Sony’s new VR headset needs to make sure their paths end up right at the newest entry in Quill’s adventures (and hopefully not the last).

Mar 6, 2023Polyarc has done an outstanding job with Moss Book II and I never thought I could get so emotionally attached to an adorable mouse like Quill. An immersive world and lovable main character are only the cherries on top of what otherwise is a solid VR puzzle-action-platformer game.

Mar 6, 2023It’s pretty impressive what Polyarc has done with Moss: Book 2 on the PSVR 2. The number of new features they could incorporate into a game designed before the haptics and eye-tracking were available is very encouraging. I can’t wait to see how new games take further advantage of the new PSVR 2 tech. The PSVR 2 version of Moss: Book 2 is, once again, the definitive version of the game. If Polyarc makes a third Moss game, I cannot wait to see what they come up with. If you’ve never played Moss or Moss: Book 2, then you won’t regret picking up either game for the PSVR 2.

Feb 21, 2023You can lean in and see your little mouse friend Quill up close, and it’s a beautiful game, full stop.

Jul 15, 2024Moss Book 2 is a delightful VR adventure that builds upon the strengths of its predecessor. With its stunning visuals, engaging gameplay, and heartwarming story, Moss Book 2 is a must-play for VR enthusiasts and a captivating introduction to the medium for newcomers.
-
May 1, 2023Moss Book2 is longer, more versatile and graphically better than it's predecessor. Quill (and companions) are adorable as ever, but the even bigger stakes and more interesting puzzles make this follow-up even more interesting. The release together with PS VR2 is welcome and makes this one of the better starter-games of the launch line-up.

Feb 21, 2023A great way to dive into a tale with a rich gameplay, and a story not long enough to get tired of it. Quill's charm does the rest.
