    Will rate this game the same as I rate fifa, there is a potentially good game but the scripting is atrocious, even vs ai. Dynasty conquest so many perfect and good hits get caught out, we’re the ai on there 3rd strike seem to constantly get base runs. Thank god for game pass as I would not pay a AAA game price for what is a glorified mobile game.     With the new Franchise features like the draft, improved gameplay as well as new modes to play, MLB The Show 23 is another amazing baseball game.

    always a good time playing this game. Single player modes have improved but Diamond Dynasty is still the best online sports game and its not even close.

    This game is really good. We are really in a good atmosphere that the game tries to bring during the gameplay and that's the reason why I rate it like this. The controls and graphics are also quite well done.

    This year's game is probably the most refined that I've ever seen the franchise. RTTS is an obvious let down, as it actually feels less substantial than previous years. However, Diamond Dynasty has seen alot of improvements, and the storylines are very cool to experience.

    Amazing game with a huge bounce back from last years. Franchise mode and gameplay is elite. Best sports title out there by far

    Storylines mode is a great way to learn about the game’s history and see it from a different perspective; Slight gameplay improvements; Not messing with an already great formula.
    Bad- No major additions to existing gameplay modes; Omission of pitch clock. Thoughts- In a lot of ways, MLB The Show 23 feels like a slightly upgraded version of MLB The Show 22. Each of the    Good-

    No major additions to existing gameplay modes; Omission of pitch clock.

    Thoughts-
    In a lot of ways, MLB The Show 23 feels like a slightly upgraded version of MLB The Show 22. Each of the existing game modes feel almost identical to past years, which is to say still incredibly fun, if not as revolutionary. The addition of the Storylines mode and the in-depth look at the real history of the Negro Leagues and its greatest players is a fantastic addition that adds a slightly varied new gameplay style alongside a great platform for learning about the history of the game. Regardless, MLB The Show has become one of the premier sports games on the market because of its fantastic gameplay and wide array of enjoyable modes, and The Show 23 doesn’t do anything to slow it down.    … Expand

    This is by far the worst sports game I have ever played. Inconsistent gameplay, bugs, getting disconnected mid online game constantly, I never had any fun playing and it's going to be a very long time until I ever even consider buying another MLB the Show game for a very long time.

    We're playing the same product from ten years ago. I know the studio is stretched thin, but it's time for NEXT GEN games on these expensive consoles that most of us now have.

    I think this game would be dry if it wasn't for the negro leagues and the new ways to hit. A bit of a copy and paste, but with a roster update and a new mode, I think this game is maintaining its status as a franchise as pretty good.

    The gameplay and everything is nice but I’m tired of hearing the same stuff from the announcers. When I’m playing road the show and I play a lot of games there and the announcers always say the same stuff exactly the same way every game

    As an avid sports gamer, MLB The Show 23 makes me fall in love with baseball. The graphics are amazing as well as the gameplay. The game mode "Road to the Show" is a masterpiece as you are playing as yourself (your man made player) to try and level up and get your player higher in the MLB ranks. It's just a truly phenomenal game.

    MLB The Show 23 doesn't reinvent the genre, but the franchise continues to stand as one of the best on the market. The gameplay is fantastic across all phases of the sport, and the line-up of modes has been improved thanks to the addition of Storylines. There is still room for improvement, but The Show remains a contender for best sports title of the year.
