Apr 14, 2022MLB The Show 22 is enjoyable and its gameplay divinely effective and delicious. The additions to this 2022 version reinforce the simulation aspect, without being too complicated for newbies. MLB The Show not only makes us play baseball on our console, but also makes the sport live, putting us in an incredible way in the world of pitching, running and home runs.

Apr 8, 2022Really the graphics and animations are dated. There is no simulation feel to it. I got lost in 21 and had fun but this is way to the same and I'm selling it for sure. This was the last sports franchise I cared about but diamond dynasty has went stale for this player and the other modes get boring quick!

Apr 8, 2022Same game as last year like almost all other sports games since 2015.Save your money on ps5.If you have xbox with game pass its free.Hopefully devs will start to think new when nobody is buying their ,5 games anymore.
-
Apr 7, 2022Same old game don’t buy if this game wasn’t free I don’t think anyone would play it tough that they have to use the game pass to sell games
-
Apr 5, 2022This game is on my xbox game pass day one, and I downloaded it without any additional cost. Thank you

Apr 2, 2022Its Mlb The Show 21.5 only it isnt as good the commentary got way worse and the game has remain unchanged since 15. The graphics look terrible and need to be updated. The fans look like someone melted them in micorwaves. There is still huge server issues. The game is increasingly becoming pay to win, its a awful game.
-
Apr 4, 2022Same game as last year with just a few changes. Same animations and same commentary. WITH tons of Micro transactions. SONY WTF YOURE RUINING EVERY FRANCHISE. Super disappointed to say the least

Apr 3, 2022The show is back! The gameplay so far is smooth and it’s the perfect fix to get excited for the baseball season

Apr 4, 2022Best game since 2016. Don't listen to these morons with the negative reviews. I've been a critic of the game for a long time. The game runs much smoother this year. The change in the commentary booth is a breath of fresh air. Futhermore, the presentation is much improved. I'm more of a franchise guy, but I can't wait to give Road to The Show another go.

Apr 4, 2022While the game still feels very similar to 21, I appreciate some of the things that were added. I've always enjoyed the franchise mode and it definitely received some much needed quality of life upgrades this time around. Also new commentary for the first time in a long time. A great entry into the series.

Apr 16, 2022They didn't even bother to change the podcast videos. It's not a new game, but just a roster update. Even EA put more effort.

Apr 19, 2022The graphics are slightly better. The in game dialog is very little and EXTREMELY repetitive. They introduce a new member to the booth, only to have him say 10 sentences! There are no injuries! I witnessed a pitcher get nailed by a line drive to the face and nobody even mentions it. The pitcher just continues as if nothing happens. Every day a pitcher from a team throws a complete game shutout.

May 10, 2022MLB the show 22 is hot garbage the new commentators are abousltey horrible, franchise mode again is the same as last year, they don't even have the correct game schedule for each team, graphics are exactly the same, tons of player audio names missing, going back and playing MLB the show 21 which is a way better baseball game compared to this. Do Not Buy MLB the show 22 save your money!

Jun 20, 2022MLB The Show 22 is still a great game of ball, but one that is stating to slow down as it ages. San Diego Studio has been able to innovate in the past, and I hope they get around to addressing some of the weaknesses next time around. Whether that's through going full current-gen or delivering a fresh approach to Road to the Show, there is room for improvement.
-
May 31, 2022MLB The Show 22 is still among the highest forms of video game baseball available … right along with the game that came before it. It still plays exquisitely, and it's still definitely worth your time if you've never really experienced the series before. For veterans, however, this could be the moment where the game just feels … sort of "there," and the only big difference you'll notice is that this year's cover guy probably should have been last year's cover guy.

May 29, 2022There’s something to be said about not messing with something that’s working just fine. The Show 22 is a familiar product for better and for worse. The ball game is as solid as ever, but the video game entry fails to offer something truly new for PlayStation owners who bought last year’s installment, while its most noticeable change doesn’t really help matters.
