We’ve still got some time to spend with Mato Anomalies, but we’ve enjoyed what we’ve played of it so far. It’s not the most polished RPG, which may disappoint some, but its streamlined nature is a breath of fresh air, and it has a neat premise and some cool ideas. Fans of the likes of Persona are most likely to resonate with it, but it’s perhaps worth a look for any RPG fan looking for something new to sink their teeth into. [Provisional Score = 70]

The plot seems exciting at the beginning, but can't hold the tension for long and the presentation of the game also seems rather outdated and this is where the developers of the game could have started. Because the fights and the hacks have good ideas and with more possibilities also become really good. So we can address "Mato Anomalies" only fans of the genre, because it was not enough for only an average rating. Too bad!!! Full Review »

This game takes the best parts of that series and makes them worse in almost every way. Story is generic, enemies lack flair, battles are incredibly lackluster. I can't recommend this game to anyone, spend what precious time you have left on earth elsewhere. You might get something out of it, but not without a mind numbing slog through mounds of text and mediocre gameplay. Full Review »
