Sep 27, 2024The Looney Tunes universe is still amazing, with classic characters that haven't lost their charisma. However, the various poorly executed mechanics for sports, the overall refinement of the game, and a visual style that doesn't do justice to the universe presented deliver a mediocre experience.

Dec 6, 2024Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports won’t replace my daily Madden NFL or NBA2K sessions, but they were a nice distraction and offered enjoyable arcade vibes throwing it back to an era that focused on simpler gameplay and colorful aesthetics. While I appreciate the final product, it’s ultimately hampered by a lack of variety, so if the developers follow this up, I’d love to see an expanded version.

It doesn't shine aesthetically, despite being based on the iconic cartoons, and the animations never manage to shake off a certain stiffness. The sports offered are characterized by a less than decisive register, which attempts to be simultaneously carefree and deeper than expected: it is never fully either of the two.
