Again the choices leave much to be desired as they just don’t feel like they matter, but I loved every moment spent with last stop and believe this is a must play for those that love a good story in their games.

I ended up playing this game in an all night binge session midweek, even though it's perfectly set up for episodic consumption. It's a testament to how great video game writing can be.

Be warned, it's not overly interactive, but it immerses you perfectly in a complex and intriguing world, that's built out in loving detail. I am glad that PS extra featured this game, because I

I am glad that PS extra featured this game, because I otherwise would not have even tried it.

Storytelling, writing and music are top notch, the graphics are perfect for the game but not highly detailed - think more of a comic book adventure. I was amazed at how real the characters felt, to the point where I went back and played through the multiple endings to make sure I had seen them all and that the ones I chose matched my feel for the characters.

    Great work, highly recommended.

Getting this gem for "free" via the PS Platinum was a blessing! A nice 7-hour playable British Mystery TV Series with a bit of everything: humour, romance, cheating, lies, and...mystery! If you want action, you wont find it here. You will just find a nice tale to spend a whole gaming evening.
Oh, and an easy Platinum Trophy!
Good job everyone at devs, I had a great time, thanks!

These characters while highly flawed add a unique perspective as protagonists also taking place in modern day England which provided an interesting setting for a big plot to unfold. Gameplay is fairly straightforward where you are essentially going through an interactive movie and affecting dialogue, but that does make this a perfect game to relax and unwind, and you do determine the endings for all characters. Being an indie game the facial expressions and movements can sometimes be a bit rough, but with smaller studios I always hold them to smaller standards and this was an excellent way to spend a few hours a night.

While I do wish some of the supernatural reveals gave even more information, it is the nature of stories like these to leave a few things vague, and ultimately I cannot fault the writers for making those choices. I enjoyed my time with Last Stop, and if you want a relaxing way to spend a few evenings with a mystery sci-fi, you could do worse than meeting these characters and going on their interesting journeys.

this is a pretty average game all around, while the story is good the graphics are subpar and there's really not much gameplay outside of a few minigames. the game mostly revolves around conversations. too many meaningless day to day tasks thrown in like drinking coffee and brushing your teeth.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I cannot relate to most of the reviews. I loved the game due to the stories and turn of events. I felt drawn into the game and was really feeling with the characters. I even replayed the end to see the other endings. Hope there are more games likes this in the future (from Annapurna :)) Expand

there a lot of issues in this game, the story good but not explained about many things, character are boring expect the three main characters, and sometimes they gets boring too, What the purpose of choosing if the game ends up with same thing and same a dialogue

More of a playable movie than an adventure game, Last Stop boasts great characters and intriguing mysteries. Just don’t expect to have much of an impact on any of it. [Issue#5, p.87]

Last Stop is most enjoyable when it isn’t going anywhere. The end of each episode may hook you with a cliffhanger, but, when you look back on the game, the story fails to hang around. Instead, the scenes that stick in the memory don’t mean much at all.

Variable State follows up the wordless weirdness of Virginia with a far more talkative, and more grounded, supernatural drama with Last Stop. The focus on its three protagonists’ everyday problems over the underlying odd phenomena helps to make each tale more engaging, and in turn, makes the stranger things that occur feel more captivatingly mysterious in their initially limited use. It’s a little light in terms of traditional player control, but Last Stop tells a hell of a good story that you still very much feel like you’re in the director’s chair for.
