KILL KNIGHT

Kill Knight is a fantastic arcade shooter that promises to captivate hardcore fans when it comes to competing for high scores. Although the title is not any kind of leader of a new wave of "Boomer Shooters", its fusion of gothic and retro art along with its frenetic combat are addictive combinations that will please anyone looking to learn a new action game.

An excellent twin-stick shooter that borrows liberally from the likes of Doom and Devil May Cry, to create a punishingly difficult but extremely rewarding arcade game.

Despite Kill Knight’s ceaseless torrent of monsters, projectiles, and environmental hazards, there’s an impressive lucidity to the game’s blistering, hypnotic mayhem.

I had a blast with KILL KNIGHT and plan on playing it much more as I climb the leaderboards higher and higher; what a great shooter.

With four difficulty levels to overcome, lots of equipment to change up your play style, and five levels to master, Kill Knight is pretty fleshed out for what it is. On top of that, the controls feel very responsive, and it's all presented with a harsh, grainy aesthetic and appropriately punchy music. Given the style of game this is, it can become quite repetitive; level design remains fairly samey, and you're fighting mostly the same enemies throughout. Still, everything that's here is made to a high quality, and if you're in the market for a fast-paced test of skill, this hits the mark.
